Review: The event I paid to attend as a vendor was misrepresented. I was never told that the event was open to an adjacent event which directly competed with the event I was attending. Booth information about power and extra charges were delayed after payment was received they finally told me. My power which was paid for went out during event and when brought to the attention of the event leader [redacted] nothing was done and I had to leave my booth and find ballroom staff. I was also told ballons were not permitted and other booths had them and were not instructed to remove them. I was told I would share the ballroom with wedding professional vendors and a man selling Jerky was in attendence. Loading and unloading was a mess many vendors left their cars and vans while I was made to move my car and pay for additional parking. I saw event staff throwing Wedding gowns and other vendors complaining about the handling of their things. I was continuously harassed with phone calls about payment even though I had provided a mailed check which I was told by event leader was acceptable. I then provided a credit card and was charged twice. After contacting [redacted] to complain I was called a "bad apple" and told that he would do nothing to make things right I was a "bad business owner" and "not to contact him again"Desired Settlement: I desire to have my booth fee returned $799.00 as well as my $165.98 electrical fee
I recently attended their Women n' Wine Ladies Fest at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh on 1/24/16. The company itself admitted to selling 6,000 tickets. They promised 13 wineries and 135 vendors. Several wineries did not show up due to the weather. The event itself was overcrowded and disorganized. It was completely unenjoyable. When confronted about the issue by SEVERAL attendees, the company sent the same response blaming the attendees for not reading the description of the event properly. They claimed it was not a Wine Fest and that the main focus of the event was purely shopping. After emailing and attempting to contact them via social media, they have been rude, belittling, and unprofessional.
