Thought this was very suspicious when I got the letter because my accountant said nothing about having to pay more for the LLC beside changing license with the DBPR. What do ya do...Google it 😊 Found this to confirm that some people suck and try to rip people off for their gard earned money 💰 Always gotta watch your back!

Business Certificate Services, these are scammers, but they failed. This company mailed me a letter as if it was from the Business Certificate Services Office of the State of Florida, they are scammers... you make the complaint to find out how they obtained your data, I reported it to the IRS, we will see what happens.
When you get this letter asking you to pay $87.25, DO NOT Pay. They are not government offices. It's a SCAM!...

These scammers thought they could scam me, but they failed. This company mailed me a letter as if it was from the Business Certificate Services Office of the State of Florida, little did they know that I had a reputable company taking care of all my business documents. The reputable company notified me that they are scammers. When you get this letter asking you to pay $87.25, DO NOT Pay. They are not government offices. It's a SCAM!

A few days after opening my LLC business, I received a letter by post with a very formal presence. It said that I had to pay $87.25 to send me a state certificate from my company. Something seemed suspicious to me and I decided to look for information about this letter and this supposed company, it turns out that reading your comments I discovered that it was a scam, thanks to your reports I did not fall into the trap. Thank you

Glad I checked here first as I was about to pay this bill. It's a scam and I would have been out $87.25 Not good.

Anyone can get a Certificate of status if you really want in Florida by going to the Secretary of State Website and pay $8.75 but it’s not a requirement and if a bank or loan company needs to see your status they can check the public record in you State.
The letter states it’s a requirement for banking and getting loans which obviously is a lie. Speaking to these is on the phone the guy denied exactly what the letter says while being recorded. I did locate the address of where he is in a virtual office.
They are not licensed in any state is the belief. It’s against Federal Law to mislead consumers and is fraudulent in every state to charge more for a state service.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! They prey on new businesses to milk your startup costs for nothing.
REMEMBER, Banks, Loan Companies, and Business License renewal clerks pull up your Business online and see the information they need matching your name, ITS PUBLIC INFORMATION you don’t need and it’s not required at any institution in the United States. .

First red flag- Presort first class label on mailing envelope
Red Flag 2- Address is a strip mall
Red Flag 3- You already paid to register your LLC.

Recommendation: Send back the blank form with the following return address.

They are now charging $87.25. It's a good thing I always check on these services and thought it was probably a scam.

Two weeks since filing my LLC and getting letters like this daily. Glad to have this website to confirm that it's a SCAM! Official-looking letter for "2020 Certificate of Status Request Form" and that I need it to get a loan for my business. When I filed my LLC I paid $5 for the certificate of status, so was surprised to see this letter saying I had to pay $67.25. Not sure how these companies get away with this.

Wow, so glad that I researched and looked up information. Tried to take funds from what looked very official form and letter head. Unbelievable that this can occur and Tallahassee lets this happen.

You don't need to give these guys $67.25. You can request a certificate of status directly from the sunbiz website for $5. This is a scam.

They must troll the DOS site for newly registered businesses and then they pounce. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY... this is not legit and you can get any documentation you need from the official DOS site. They should be ashamed. I wish there was a way to give negative stars.

Just received a letter in the mail "2020 CERTIFICATE OF STATUS REQUEST FORM" and came here to find out more about the company. So far, it seems like a scam. Asking me to send $67.25 to them by 8/27/2020, but only via check or Money Order. I think major businesses like the STATE OF FLORIDA would use the internet for money transfer as an option. So, I'm NOT paying attention to this.

Oh, the document # is if anyone at the Revdex.com wants to know.

I received the same letter, I felt the urgency to send out the payment they were requesting but I noticed that they were giving me an unreasonable amount of time to respond. The mailed me on the 8/11/20, I received the letter on the 8/14/20 but "Please respond by 8/18/20" Only 4 days?

Something smell weird, the wife told me to look it up online. and I found all these reviews.

They almost got me.

Scam! I knew by looking at the document they sent that I had no business with them. Looking for $67.25 for a "Florida Certificate of Status". Be cautious - this is not the first one I received. I wish I had saved the other one I got earlier this week.

The letter that they sent looks real, but the are scammers. Do not fall with this guys.

They have changed their name to Business certificate address 400 Capital Circle SE, Suite 18-238 Tallahassee,FL 32301. They almost got me, but I like to research before I send any money to anyone. They request $67.25 from us to complete one last step on official looking paper.please do not send these scammers your hard earned money.

I'm glad I read this before sending 67 dollars to these folks the Revdex.com should put an end this. IT IS A SCAM.

Read the fine print it says "Not a government agency" in an obscure location.

Fraudulent mailing made to look official. Made to look like a government document, and has a deadline to create a sense of urgency.
