We had a very annoying and persistent salesman drop in at our new home and proceed to very aggressively push the services of Bush Home Services, including their pest control, lawn cutting and spraying. I told him this wasn't a good time and. to leave his information Their prices turned out to be very competive and, after checking around, signed up with them for pest services, and lawn maintenance. They came out, cut the grass one day, then spraying insecticides another, and then I got a call saying their quote wasn't high enough and they needed to "triple the price". When we protested, they said they'd give us a deal and just double it. We had no reason to doubt their quote since it was close in price to the others we talked to. How is this even legal? I expect my money returned from the pest control spraying (one spray was done), which was paid in full for the year and also that the lawn cutting (done on May 22) and the spraying (done on May 26 be charged at the quoted rate.
