(hot water heating system) in his home. The boiler is very old and has not been maintained or had any maintenance done on it over the years. Our job when the calls came in was to repair it and we did to the best of our abilities. It’s the home owners responsibility to take heed on how to keep the boiler working the best it can (for the age of it) by removing all clutter from the registers, leaving the registers open not closed, and letting the heat flow freely. If these steps aren’t followed then it will cause parts to wear down, wiring to burn, pumps not pumping and this is beyond our control. Each service call that came in, the same scenario still existed. Therefore parts being replaced and service charges did apply.
