I ordered a case of light bulbs and paid over $250.00 for them, but only four of the 25 were actually what I ordered. They sent me the wrong product.I ordered a case of 25 light bulbs in bulk apparently on 12/29/2013. Only 4 of the light bulbs were correct. I am unable to make use the 21 incorrect bulbs sent to me. On 10/14/14 I needed to use the fourth bulb and found that I had to open and unwrap each individual box to find that the other 21 were all incorrect. On 10/15/14 I contacted www.bulbs.com to be told that I would have to pay to ship these and they were going to charge me a 20% restocking fee and that the bulbs were still of use to them. I don't feel I should have to pay any part of this as it was their responsibility to send me the correct item. I further consider their their statement that I should have unwrapped and opened each individual bulb to check for correctness upon receipt.Desired SettlementI want them to pay to return ship, pay to ship and send me the correct item.Business Response Bulbs.com is contacting the customer today (11/12)to resolve.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)They did not contact me.Final Business Response The customer returned the unused bulbs to the Bulbs.com (bulbs arrived 12/03). Inspection of the bulbs revealed that the bulbs sent to the customer were what the customer ordered. The apparent reason for failure was that the customer ordered the incorrect bulb for their fixture/device causing the four used bulbs to burn out shortly after installation. Bulbs.com has credited the customer for the full value of the returned bulbs.
