Sent the wrong puzzle, damaged and now is offering only a 20% refund (originally offered 10%). The puzzle comes in a crappy generic box. Buyer beware!
My wife bought me a Buffalo Games puzzle a back in 2007 and the picture on the box was different from the actual puzzle and it was missing pieces. I contacted the company and they said send a receipt and they would replace it, unfortunately I do not get in the habit of saving puzzle receipts in the event pieces are missing. Fast-forward to today and I finally decided to try their double-sided dalmatian puzzle that I got as a gift many years ago and when I notice two edge pieces were missing I decided to count and found that their are actually four puzzle pieces missing. This is why I don't buy Buffalo Games puzzles and definitely will not in the future.
Hi ***,
Sorry to hear of your experiences; though those are very old products! Our records show the Dalmatians puzzle hasn't been produced for over 10 years. Things can change a lot - and fast forward to today and tens of millions of puzzlers enjoy Buffalo puzzles every year! We've invested many millions of dollars in Quality Control and technology to make sure our puzzles contain all their pieces; and we hope you reconsider our brand! There's tons of fun images and themes to explore in a wide variety of piece counts!
The Buffalo puzzle is fairly nice except for the hundreds of damaged pieces. It's the only puzzle company I buy puzzles from that come with damaged pieces. They need to look into why the pieces get damaged.
I purchased a Buffalo Games puzzle with 12 sets of 2 pieces each that were not c.ut all the way through and would require gluing which is not acceptable in a brand new puzzle. I called them 2 weeks ago, left a message with my phone number and never heard from them. I then wrote a letter, enclosing the bar code and 2 representative samples of uncut puzzle pieces, with my phone number and email address. Again, no response either way. Today (11/4/19) I called again and left a message (it is impossible to talk to a human) leaving my name and phone number, and, nothing.
The consumer reached out to Revdex.com:I am letting you know that Complaint ID has been resolved with Buffalo Games. They are sending me another different puzzle. Thank you very much for your assistance in this matter.Sincerely
Not worthy of a star! This company does not acknowledge their errors in puzzle making and insists their puzzles "work". Well, the Times Square puzzle is an erroneous nightmare. DO NOT BUY IT NOR ANY PRODUCTS FROM THIS DECEPTIVE COMPANY!
Ms. reached out to us on September 8th, as though she had the correct number of pieces in her puzzle, could not complete the puzzle. Sometimes this happens if a piece is mistakenly put into the wrong place, so we shared some tried-and-true methods to see if they would help. Ms. followed up and said it wasn't helpful, so we offered to replace her puzzle free of charge. Ms. sent us a cheerful message on September 9th in response, and we thought the matter was fully resolved. Her message was "Bless you for your understanding. As directed, I completed the form and submitted the mailing address for which I expect to receive a new Times Square puzzle. Cheers, *** (smiley face)"
Her replacement puzzle is shipping out imminently.
We purchased a 2000 piece puzzle from *** in June. On completion we discovered one piece missing. We chalked it up to chance or perhaps our carelessness. In July we purchased another 2000 piece puzzle on *** and again, after completing the puzzle found one missing piece, this one in the exact center of the puzzle. After some research we found the company's website, called and emailed. It's been too soon to receive a response but are finding many similar complaints on line. According to their website they will send us a replacement but we certainly do not want the same puzzle that we just spent 3 weeks (almost) completing. We want others to be aware of this frustrating problem.
Have had problems with buffalo Games & Puzzles, puzzle 11803 Star Wars "You're All Clear Kid" barcode ***, pieces are missing in all 4 puzzles. Box shows 1000 puzzle on box, but company says there are 1026 pieces. 1st 2 puzzles where purchased at area ***. After the 2nd puzzle, I called the company 9/5/17 several times to get this corrected. Both puzzles were missing pieces. Had requested that the 4th puzzle be piece counted before shipped to me. Buffalo failed to fulfill my request. Tired of making phone calls, just to have an incomplete puzzle shipped to me. This started 8/30 and as of this date, I am very dissatisfied with the lack of quality control at Buffalo Games and puzzles. Just want a 100% complete puzzle. Shipping 3 puzzles back to Buffalo.
We produce over 5,000,000 jigsaw puzzles annually and track internal quality ever since we startedmaking puzzles in 1986. We realize the frustration a consumer feels assembling a puzzle only to have apiece missing, and have millions of dollars invested in proprietary quality control systems to preventdefective puzzles both from ever leaving our facility (or ever happening in the first place). We received a call from *** on September 5 2017 where he stated his puzzle was missingpieces. and we sent put a replacement immediately thereafter. We received a second message from*** on October 4, 2017, where he stated the replacement puzzle was missing pieces. We sentout another replacement immediately thereafter that call. It sounds like he found this puzzle to bemissing pieces also.We feel badly he had such an experience we pride ourselves on being the premium quality jigsawpuzzle manufacturer in America. This is bad luck to a very large degree! For three puzzles to be missingpieces is a 1 in 100,000,000 chance.Today (November 11, 2017 I personally watched this puzzle being manufactured and took one right offthe line after I saw all pieces go into the package. We will send this puzzle to *** today and heshould receive by next weekPlease note that all our "1,000 Piece" puzzles really do contain 1,026 pieces; we use the nominal piececount on our packaging as that is usually how consumers identify their favorite piece count.
Thank You,Mark ***Director of OperationsBuffalo Games
We are not certain how to proceed - as we have in good faith tried to solve Mr. problem on 4 separate occasions. The last time was a Director of our company personally watching every piece go into a sealed package, and hand walked to the shipping line to send free of charge to Mr. Marsh. We will send a different 1,000pc puzzle or other piece count which he can choose from our website
