Hi,When replacing a battery, all you do is open the back of the watch, pop out the battery and replace with a new one, and then put the back of the watch on We don't play around with buttons and we certainly do NOT take screws out of watches, as the estimate is claiming that there are screws missing near the button I am glad that the customer is able to fix his watch (kind of odd that the estimate was done months ago), but the damage was not caused by popping out a battery in the back of the watch Again, there is no way for any store to verify if a watch is working correctly when the watch isn't working, and once the battery was replaced, the watch started to keep time, which is the job of the battery

Hi,When we do a watch battery replacement, all we do is open up the back of the watch and change out the battery We can't tell if the watch is in working condition at the time Obviously, there is a problem with the side button, that was not caused by us We did, at our cost, ship the watch to Citizen to see if they can fix the watch, to help out the customer over a year and a half ago We did what we could to help the client and we went above and beyond by actually shipping the watch directly to the manufacture at no cost to the customer It's a neat vintage watch, but just like anything electronic , things break with age So, I hope this explains everything, but changing a battery does not affect any side buttons ***

We don't play around with buttons and we certainly do NOT take screws out of watches, as the estimate is claiming that there are screws missing near the button. I am glad that the customer is able to fix his watch (kind of odd that the estimate was done 6 months ago), but the damage was not caused by popping out a battery in the back of the watch. Again, there is no way for any store to verify if a watch is working correctly when the watch isn't working, and once the battery was replaced, the watch started to keep time, which is the job of the battery.

Consequently the Watchcirle fixed my watch and it is now in perfect working condition.
