We have done numerous jobs at this particular condominium facility over the years and are completely aware of the requirements by the association. The requirement states that any new window...

frames must be bronze in color. The screens frames are bronze in color but Mrs [redacted] insists that they are grey. The last time Her and I spoke I told her that I would have one of the maintenance folks approve the screens prior to the install to insure her that they were met the requirements. She agreed and since then, to date, she has never responded to any of my telephone messages.I completely disagree with her statement that she made 3 attempts as she states on 4-9 thru 4-11. I personally went to the site and met her initially and made her aware that the color of the frames would not be a perfect match in color since the original frames in the building are from the 70's and are what we call "medium bronze". These days the new frames are dark bronze which is what I explained initially and the same as we have installed time and time again. She stated that her neighbor across the hall where we recently  installed brand new doors and windows with screens were a perfect match and I explained that yes they were, they were brand new from Milgard and the anodizing finish is exactly a match but her doors are the old style color. The association understands this issue.And yes, the screens were slightly larger when we attempted to install them but we sent them back to the factory to have them made correctly made and have been ready for the last 4 weeks.All calls and messages to Mrs [redacted] have been unreturned. I never agreed to a refund because this is a special order, not something siting on a shelf.In our last conversation I told Mrs [redacted] that I would have the maintenance department approve the screens before she would have to pay the balance due and that was our agreement.To date she has not responded to any of my messages that I have left for her over the last month.Ed P[redacted], President
