Company replaced a new part that was not bad with a more expensive part. The new part that was on the truck was bought and put on the truck April 9,2020. When me and my wife when back to get the money back. He (one of the worker or owner) kept say it was bad and would not even touch the part to prove to us it was bad. We took the part back to the company (***) that we bought it form and they took out a new part and we compare the two and in there opinion there was nothing wrong with our part and gave use the money that we spent on it because it was still under warranty. The Sevices station did not even try to use the warranty that was on the part. We feel we were frauded by the services station.
They we want the $275.00 back
Business advised Revdex.com:They dropped the vehicle off at the business for a tire balance and inspections. When the the vehicle was up in the air 1 front wheel was shaking. It did not pass NY State inspection. He worked with the husband initially. He text the husband how much it would cost for the tire, wheel bearing, and inspection. He was called back and told him to go ahead and do it. Put in the wheel bearing. Consumer's wife became involved. She admitted to him that they installed the bolts to themselves prior to this repair. The bolts were loose by her. She never advised that there was an issue with the bolts until after their job was done and paid for. They paid for the least expensive wheel bearing at ***. She saved the part to take to ***. Then she went to *** and they said that there was nothing wrong with the part. There is nothing that they can do. The Consumer's still need to pay for inspection, approved labor, and approved install. Since the Consumer's bought the part from *** prior to their repairs they may want to ask *** for their money back.
