Brown's, John Armory

Review: I bought the Springfield XDM 9mm handgun from the Brown's, John Armory 11/07/14. There are only two magazines in the box. I asked the seller twice in the store if there is the third magazine in the box before I bought it. He said NO. Then, I spent around $38 for the third magazine in his store.However, when I went back home and check it in the Springfield official website (http://www.springfield-armory.com/products/xdm-4-5-9-mm/; checking the video which shows the third magazine in the handgun). It does have the third magazine in the box.Desired Settlement: I request that the owner should refund me around #38 for my additional cost for the magazine.

On November 7 2014 a man came in and purchased a Springfield XDM model number

[redacted]. This model number can be found on the box of the Springfield he

purchased. He had asked our salesman several times in person and on the phone about the

number of magazines that comes with the gun. He was told accurately that it came with two

magazines not three. We have sent him copies of the product specs from the Springfield

website and have asked him to go to the Manufacturers website to verify using the model

number listed on his box. There are several models of XDM’s and he chose the less

expensive model at $629.95 instead of the more expensive model that does come with three

magazines with a MSRP of $795.00.

I have included the model spec. sheet, our invoice from the distributor, a copy of his sales

slip, as well as the letter that we sent to [redacted]
