Horrible customer service from bill s*** (service manager).deliberately took his fingernail and scratched my new four wheeler fender.told me if I would have bought it their I would be treated different.got the same reaction from the owner after I told him bill was rude and a hot head.
I brought my snowmobile to BROTHERS POWER SPORTS in Brainerd, MN to have a tether switch put in. The reason I wanted a tether switch put in is because someone I know who works on repairing snowmobiles, checked it out and told me I needed to take the vehicle to a Skidoo technician. Brother's Power Sports claims that they are a Ski-doo dealer, so I called them first, and they said to bring it in. They thought they could properly program a new tether switch. I brought it in. After two weeks they called and said it was fixed. They charged me 154 dollars and change. I got it back and it did the same thing. I brought it back to them and after two weeks, then they said the problem was in the carburetor and fuel. They worked on the carburetor and fuel system, and then told me that was NOT the problem. They charged me 245 dollars and change for this most recent, yet unproductive procedure. Now they said it's in my C.D.I. box. They want another $200 hundred dollars to do this. If that doesn't work they said I have to still pay for it! Furthermore, they won't guarantee this work at all. I specifically request they either fix my vehicle and remove all charges for unnecessary work on the vehicle, or refund the entire amount, and give me back my vehicle, so I can take it to a Skidoo dealer who can perform the necessary repairs. Can you help me get this resolved?
Response received via e-mail to Revdex.com:
In this matter the snowmobile in question had multiple issues. Started with a coded key issue, which turned out to be the computer and cascaded from there with multiple issues, this unit is 19 years old and normally we don't even work on these but Mr. was adamant about really wanting to get to run even though we warned about getting new OEM parts as many are discontinued, he said he would be patient, we kept him informed about repairs. We currently are done with snowmobile. All repairs were do to improper storage issues, non professional routing of cables, repairs of wires etc. We are a very busy dealer usually 2 to 4 weeks behind with 8 full time technicians working. Believe me I did not want to see this unit here as long as it was, do to finding used parts and multiple issues is the reason it took so long. Please be advised that I will be calling customer letting him know snowmobile is done and running good.
Thanks
Bill
