Review: I hired the Brother's Home Repair to add tile flooring, a wall opening, drywall installation, custom trim and trim, painting and finally paint the interior door and the wood trim of my windows in a another room. Stewart and Cesar did not honor the agreement. They appeared to be rushing because they were busy with quicker jobs as I could see from the [redacted] reviews with other customers on days they were suppose to be working in my home.I have text messages from where Stewart told me he was not coming back out to make the repairs unless I take my review off. Stewart said he needed to rescheduled our 7/18/14 appt to come out again with him and Cesar to make the repairs based on the final punch list. He said he needs to reschedule. Then the next day I text him asking if he can come out. He said, I DON'T AGREE TO MAKE ANY CHANGES ON OPENING...YOU LIKE IT LIKE THAT...IF YOU WANT ME TO STOP BY YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE PENDING REVIEW ON [redacted]. He then told [redacted] he was willing to resolve the matter but then came right back and told me via text message that we don't have an agreement. I did not find them from [redacted] so they did not know I could still put in my review. Why did would he pour grout down my basement drain and cause it to be stopped up. If I known he did that on his last day supposedly making all the repairs for final payment, I wouldn't have paid him. They were working other jobs the entire time and are refusing to make corrections. I have pictures of the work.I had to get design adjustments. Also, he wouldn't follow the design lay out. For ex, he was suppose to use counter height for my wall opening but he said I needed bar height. I told my designer and she said since he changed it we can do bar height but make it 40 1/2 inch so the granite will bring it to 42'. They still did it their way and made the wall opening start at 43'high. They could not do the custom trim so we agreed I take $200 off to pay diff contractor who is charging me $300.Desired Settlement: Partial Refund or corrections to list below:1) kitchen trash removal - remove kitchen cabinets taken down with kitchen job.2) Fix wall opening to make even again with door opening. Take off wood that made crack lines between drywall and added wood. 3) fix baseboards to make smooth and even. Add baseboard trim on sunporch. 4) fix wall imperfections (dents, lumps etc)5)Take 3 nails you put out of original decorative wood wall framing in dining room.
