Review: On 02/10/2015, my wife got the service Labial veneer (service code [redacted]). They told her its not covered by insurance and asked her to pay $450. She paid that amount and asked them to write down the service code on the receipt so that we can check with the insurance later. When I checked that service code with my account benefit online, I saw the copay just $350. Then I called [redacted] insurance and the representative confirmed the copay $350 is correct, so they overcharged me $100. I called the dental office back and asked them to refund $100 to me, but they refused. So, I asked them to submit the claim to [redacted], but they refused to do it either. They said its not covered by insurance, so they did not need to submit the claim. I believe the reason they did not want to submit the claim was they want to overcharge that service, such as my wife does not have the insurance ($450 by cash vs. $350 copay through insurance). I called them many times later and asked them to submit the claim, and finally they agreed to submit it 20 days after the service (around 02/28/2015). Then it was process on 03/13/2015 and the copay is $350. I printed it out, brought it to the Dental Office and showed it to them, but they still refused to refund $100 to me. I am very upset because they told my wife that service was not covered and asked her to pay $450 like she does not have insurance. That's not true.Desired Settlement: My insurance [redacted] processed the claim and the copay is $350. But they overcharged $450. I want them to refund $100 to me.
