My name is ***, I rented a one bedroom apartment at the Brix at Midtown for a year before moving out. Upon my leaving they said I owned a large sum of money in trumped up maintenance fees, some of which were issues I brought up when I moved in that they failed to repair. I'm including the health caveat to this complaint because I'm a veteran and I suffer PTSD, and I'm 100% disabled via the VA, part of that has having issues with sleep and extremely loud noises. This being a big issue with their fire alarm system they refused to fix, and went off extremely often with an insanely loud, ear piercing noise, seemingly at random in the middle of the night, prompting apartment wide evacuations. This is mentioned a LOT in their reviews on ***. It made my issues far worse than ever and I had to seek counselling. To as salt to the wound, now they are asking for a very large amount of money that I don't have, and threatening to report it to my insurance, and I wont be able to purchase a house.

Billing Adjustment I'm already speaking with a lawyer, and I'm sure they will be making a lawsuit against me in attempts to collect on what they think I should pay, I'm unsure if the Revdex.com could assist with that, but if not I at least want them on your guys' radar. I just want people to know about their shady tactics, and have them on record with you guys.
This resident moved out with unpaid rent and utilities. He was charged for the damage in his apartment. Upon move out furniture and trash was left in the home. Including carpet damage which needed to be replaced. These charges were not paid upon move out and his balance due was sent to our in house collections department.
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
That is incorrect, all my rent was paid up when I left, and I can prove it. All the fees that are being tacked on are all for "cleaning". As for furniture, it was two small chairs, and the trash was some plastic backs and cleaning supplies in the closet I forgot to grab. Not to mention trying to charge me for cleaning the porch, when I asked them to do it when I moved in (which I can also prove). So no, the sand on the carpet, and a dirty oven is NOT $1,300 dollars worth of cleaning. And this company has STILL yet to send me requested receipts.
