I am filing a complaint to the Brindisi Homeowner's Association. I live in the Brindisi housing area in ***, California. In January of 2017, my parents gifted me with xeriscaping to help me cut cost due to a martial separation. In January 2017, I received a letter stating that my landscaping was not approved because I didn't as permission for it. I refused to change it and did my best to keep up with it. By March of 2017, I received another letter because weeds had started taking over the shrubbery that had been placed there. Violation fees started incurring in June of 2018. Despite paying as well as I could, I was up to $3409 by the end of that year. In January of 2019, I sent an email, which has not disappeared from my online account, asking for a compromise to have an opportunity to change the front yard. In a letter dated January 29, 2019, the HOA had a meeting and decided to waive $2400 if the yard was brought up to code in 90 days. On April 10, 2019, the landscaping was changed to what it now by Haro Landscaping out of Menifee, California. I emailed them that same week to let them know that the changes were done and that they could come by and approve the changes. Despite emails, which I have saved, the $2400 has not been taken out. I have corresponded every month since July 2019 and nothing has changed. All I want is the charges taken out and that is why I am writing to you. If asked, I can provide everything that I have saved regarding this matter. I don't want this hanging over my head anymore! Thank you for your time!
Sincerely
