###-###-####4/3/2017Dear BB, The patient in question presented 7/11/2016 with an active infection requiring immediate attention by an Oral Surgeon. An antibiotic was prescribed and a referral was given so that the patient's problem could be treated asap. The patient waited until January to get the needed treatment and was prescribed antibiotics twice more before treatment was undertaken.Evaluation of reimbursement fees are an ongoing process and it became evident that State Insurance reimburses at such a level that when doing Dentures in our method, it costs us roughly $1000 more to make the Denture than we receive in reimbursement. Prior to giving an appointment to the patient it was determined that We can no longer provide dentures to those patients with State Insurance. When the patient called to schedule an appointment to begin the Dentures, we had already ceased treating those patients who had State Insurance and needed a Denture.Treatment had not begun and We cannot treat the patient under the Current financial atmosphere.Allen D., DDS
