These people are deceptive condescending jerks. I really liked our salesman at 1st, but ended up sorely disappointed. Told they'd bring a car for test drive from Topeka but didn't. No apology made. We seemed to be a bother to the guy who treated us very disrespectfully.

Without my permission, the sales manager ran my SSN thru EIGHT different lenders to see what rates he was able to offer my husband on a vehicle.
On ***, my husband was at the dealership test driving a van with a car salesman. He gave his SSN to the Finance Manager prior to the test drive. The dealership obviously pulled my SSN from a previous sales encounter without my or my husbands permission. Later that day, I received eight emails from Transunion and *** alerting me to the fact that there had been EIGHT hard inquiries to my credit that day. I immediately asked my spouse if he gave my SSN or his permission allowing my credit to be touched- he did not. I called the dealership and talked to ***, the Finance Manager. He admitted that he did not have my husbands (or my own) permission to run my credit and that there was nothing he could (or was willing to) do about it now. I don't understand how this can be legal. I asked that he write a letter to all eight lenders admitting he didn't have my permission and to please remove the hard inquiries from my credit report- he said he would write to only one. And that was that, I guess. My credit score took a hit through his actions and while he admittedly made a mistake, he is NOT willing to correct it.
