The apartment complex has failed to supply adequate maintenance on the property, ensure cleaning of the grounds or instill social distancing rules. I have called several times about the water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom causing black mold and rotting the ceiling. There is always trash in the halls and bags of garbage left in the stairwells for months at a time. The AC has not worked in my apartment for two months. The fridge and cold water in the shower also do not work. I am 29 weeks pregnant and am suffering greatly because of the apartment's negligence. I have reported these issues and the apartment has failed to address them. They have never sterilized the common areas such as handrails in the stairways. They are allowing people to gather in the dog park area, allow them to smoke by the entrances and have allowed in registered sex offenders without notice to the complex occupants. Even now, there has been part of a Christmas tree sitting in front of my apartment for days and it has not been moved. The apartments are infested with roaches and I have seen a few bed bugs.
My name is *** the new Property Manager for Texas Brick Maze. We recently purchased the property on March 30th 2020. I have not had chance to speak with *** in person. I have corresponded with her only by notices that I have put on her door. She hasn't returned my calls nor responded to my letters. She hasn't paid rent in two months. The Christmas tree in her statement was picked up from the breezeway immediately when seen. The laundry rooms, breezeways and stairs have been on a weekly cleaning schedule since April 2. We do have pest control so if she is needing services she will need to contact the office. I am here to help in any way I can.
