They refused to honor the warranty on their repair and deceived me to do unnecessary repairs.
I had the front brakes pads and rotors of my Ford Escape changed at Driver's Edge (Store#203) in December 2014 (Repair order #XXXXXXX). They advertised that all repairs have a 36 month, 36000 mile warranty. In May 2017, while the change was still within warranty, noise came from the front brakes and steering wheel was vibrating after pressing the brakes. I brought the car to the store. The driver edge said nothing was wrong with the front brakes and they refused to do anything (invoice # XXX-XXXXXX). Instead, they said the noise was from the rear brakes. In order to fix the noise issue, I would have to change the rear brakes. However, I knew that the noise was definitely from front brakes, I refused their recommendation to change rear brakes.
In May 2018, while I brought the car to this store for oil change only, now the driver edge said both front disc brake rotor and pads were worn out and need to change with a quote price more that $312 dollars (invoice# XXX-XXXXXX). And of course, they refused to honor the warranty even though I noticed the problem back in 2017. Obviously, they intentionally avoided the warranty on their repair by rejecting any service while I brought my car back in 2017. Meanwhile, this time they stated again that my rear brakes were 100% worn out and need to change to new brakes immediately.
Since I do not believe their claims and suggestions any more, I had another mechanic to work on both rear and front brakes on my car. However, after the technician took off the rear wheels, he was puzzled why I need to change rear brakes as there are still at least 50% of brake shoes left on both sides of rear brakes. Instead, the noise indeed came from front brakes and I had to change both front brakes pads and rotors in order to resolve the issue. I paid $87.50 for rear brake inspection and $213.30 for front brake shoes and rotors replacement.
1) Considering the problem first appeared in May 2017 while the repair was still within warranty, I demand the driver's edge to refund the money ($213.30) I paid for front brakes since they refused honoring the warranty that they should have. 2) Since the Driver's edge provided incorrect diagnosis on the rear brakes deliberately to deceive and rip off their costumers, I demand the Driver's edge to reimbursement the inspection fee ($87.50) I paid for rear brakes inspection.

This business is simply lying. They never contact me by either phone calls, emails or regular mails.
Assistant Regional Manager, *** Paver, has spoken with customer ***'s wife and been told that he could get back in touch as soon as he is available. Mr. Paver has left 5 voicemail messages for Mr. as well in an attempt to speak with the customer to resolve this issue. Thank you.

Never received any voicemail messages.
I did call and reached Mr. Paver. Although Dr. Paver admitted that it was indeed Driver's edge's fault that caused my financial loss, he only agreed to pay $50 for my more than $450 loss. Obviously, this is not acceptable.
Pricey and Dishonest.
I have used this Driver's edge for 8 years before this incident. I had front brakes pads and rotors of my Ford Escape changed back in December 2014. They advertise that all repairs have a 36 month, XXXXX mile warranty. In November 2017, while the repair was still within warranty, noise came from the front brakes. I brought the car to the garage. The driver edge said nothing was wrong with the front brakes and they will not do anything. In May 2018, while I brought the car to this store for oil change only, now the driver edge said both front disc brake rotor and pads are worn out and need to change with a quote price more that $350 dollars and refused to honor the warranty even though I noticed the problem back 2017. Obviously, they avoided my warranty by rejecting any service while I brought my car back in 2017. Will never use Driver's Edge again.
