I would first like to say I am sorry for this customers negative experience in one of our stores.
It is standard...
procedure to do our best to remove stains but unfortunately not all stains do come out. Ink is one that is not easy and especially in a tie which is made of delicate material. He did state that it was lighter but not all the way out.
It is also standard procedure to charge the customer if we were unable to remove the stain because our business and employees put in the work and time to spot, clean and press the item. I would also advise to check with other dry cleaners as I have not heard of any in my 23 years in this business who refund customers for their stains not coming out.
I will personally call this customer and explain this to him.
