I just yesterday finished assembling a BredaBed (full bed, Metro style) murphy bed in my home. I second many of the complaints mentioned here by this reviewer and think that BredaBeds' response is pathetic, convenient and lazy. The quality of the materials I received were acceptable in such much as they compared to pack-flat furniture from Ikea, with the exception that BredaBeds allows for much more customization, which, I presume is why they cost so much. However, unlike Ikea, assembling our kit has been a multi-day affair requiring a host of different tools, a lot of puzzle-solving and gap-filing, and not something I would recommend to most. While the instructions I received with my bed showed effort (based on the exhaustive page count and the number of highlighted warnings boxes), they were often inapplicable to the kit I was assembling, or missing entire steps, or using inconsistent/incorrect names for parts and pieces, or suggested steps which in retrospect seemed to be miss-timed and inadvisable. The videos suggested through YouTube were usually unhelpful, or again inapplicable which the printed instructions hilariously warned me they might be. (Funny that, since the printed instructions were so often inapplicable as well.) Throughout, the instructions lacked helpful clarity or diagrams. Had I believed reviews like this, I would have not purchased our murphy bed kit through BredaBeds. I would advise anyone else who is considering making a purchase here to look elsewhere. I would advise anyone who did purchase through BredaBeds and found the assembly as terrible as I did to consider a formal complaint through the Better Business Bureau which is how I plan to proceed.

We received our Breda bed on time, without any damage. We had no issues in putting it together after reading the directions in advance of assembly. We highly recommend Breda Beds to anyone who wants a good quality murphy bed. We bought their mattress as well, and it is very comfortable. Thank you for a wonderfully well engineered and aesthetically pleasing product.

Not that the company cares about feedback, But I wish I would've looked at all these online reviews before I ordered with these guys.
$3600 and what shows up is particleboard, even though they convinced me this was some sort of a special process that eliminated all the problems that particleboard traditionally presents.
There is no special process. Do not let them convince you that their "industrialized core" method is any different than regular particleboard. This thing showed up damaged, with the edges already chipped and crumbling. They assured me that the pictures I sent wouldn't be visible once assembled. Wrong again. And of course by the time I paid two guys to put this thing together... Eight hours! It was clear that the damage was absolutely visible. These were two capable people, and they said the instructions got to a point where they had to interpret a lot of it because it wasn't clear. Took them an extra hour to figure it out. That hour cost me $100! When I offered the feedback to the company they didn't even respond. They really don't care.Had to pay one of these guys to cut down the shelving because they showed up a quarter inch bigger than the cabinet would allow.
I waited an extra long time for shipping because they were waiting for hardware which they ended up not sending. At this point the bed is completely assembled without hardware, which means I have to get a stool to open the bed and cabinets since I can't fit a finger in between the two. At the time of this review the hardware has still not arrived. They told me that in order to return this damaged item, I would have to pay $450! "As part of the return policy I agreed to". Please be aware that you are agreeing to pay this restocking fee even if your item shows up damaged.
After dozens of back-and-forth and videos, they agreed to credit my Affirm account $450. Do not pay with Affirm! You have zero consumer protection that way. And it's even more difficult to get a hold of Affirm than it is Breda beds! At least with a credit card I could've disputed this.
Their solution was for me to pay somebody to completely disassemble the bed, send back the damage parts and then await the new parts... The first bed took three months to get here. At this point I've sold all my other furniture so I think they're very aware that this will not happen. Then I'm supposed to pay another thousand dollars to have it put together again? These people are a scam and a joke. Lots of quick communication before purchase... Very little afterwards when their cheap products show up damaged.
I will be posting this same review on every single site I can find. You suck Breda!

The Murphy Bunk Bed instructions and parts were not accurate and the assembly had to be re-engineered to accomplish the full installation. Additionally, some of the bolts lacked lock washers or safety nuts and could be a future safety issue.
