Bradley Airport Parking Reviews (6)

The rate signs are clearly marked as you enter all our parking facilities As I mentioned to you in our phone conversation, intercoms are located at the garage ticket dispensers for customer's needing assistance If you did not like the rate you should have driven thru the facility and exited immediately (no charge under minutes) The exit cashier could also have provided assistance by directing you to one of our less expensive surface lots I thought we were being more than fair by providing credit vouchers for your next visit We can not offer a refund since you choose the most expensive facility and were charged the correct posted rate

I am rejecting this response because:
Perhaps for someone like yourself who works at this parking lot on a daily basis, the signs are clearly marked but for someone who is trying to find a place to park their car to catch a flight, I can assure you that they are notAs I tried to explain to you and your staff, we pulled into terminal A parking knowing they might be a little more expensive than terminal B where we parked once before because its closer to the terminal. When we pulled to the road, all I noticed was the green sign that read "overnight parking " and the "long term parking $24/day $/week", we immediately looked around to exit but there were no exit signs, I told my husband it is $for the week so instead wasting time trying to get out and finding another lot, we decided to leave the car there for $a week. There was a sign about short term parking but there were no prices for the short term parking and we were not looking for short term parking so we decided to leave the car there. I took some photos on Aug 30, when we returned to pick up the car while my husband and I were trying to figure out how to pay you the $238 your parking facility was charging because "there was nothing" they "could do to reverse the charges, the manager was off until Tues, call him then" your staff said.(Mon was a holiday, LABOR DAY). I am not disputing the $per week chargeI am disputing the excessive charge of $238, over triple the amount of your posted charges ( I paid $218.22) and the fact that your signs differentiating your long term parking fees from your short term parking fees were not clearly marked
The "no charge under minutes" was not written anywhere where I could see it, please let me know where it isAs I already explained, we never made it to the exit cashier because there was no exit or Uturn signs before you enter the lot and we decided to enter knowing we were going to pay $for the week
About your vouchers, as I explained to you in our last conversation yesterday (9/5), I am sending them back to you because just like the signs in your parking entrance they are not clearYou tell me "they are worth $or $per day" but they read " FREE PARKINGGood for 1 day of parking" I don't want to go through the same problem when I try to use them, having to figure out if they are only daily or if they can be used for weekly
I flew from Bradley before and I don't have a problem with the airport service, but your terminal A's way of doing business needs to be reconsidered
You probably will get away with not refunding my money back as you might have done with other customers in the past, it is hard for me to believe that we are the first ones who have experienced this situation at your terminal A parking lotThis is the way costumer service has become in some reputable business, their managers/employees try to find unclear ways to rip costumers out of their hard earn money and then hide under their unprofessional "there is nothing I can do" attitude to scare people off and get away with it
I will prefer to have my hard earned money back, but at this point as you made it clear that might not be possible, but I will also be ok just knowing, others will become aware of the possibility that after working hard the whole year, going on their dream vacation, they could be coming back to the nightmare of being charged $dollars for days of parking
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:

You don't need to see my photos.  If you just go to the entrance of your terminal A parking lot you can read your own sign, stating; "long term $24/day $75/ week", you will also find the smaller sign "short term" above it with no printed fees, then you go to your website and read your short term fees for terminal A, which is "$28", find what you charge me ($238) turns out to be $28 per day plus tax, which is not posted anywhere at your parking entrance signs. You neither charged me the weekly posted rate of $75 which is what expected to pay or the posted daily rate of $24 which I should not pay because I did not pull into the lot looking for daily parking.

I sent your parking vouchers back. I don't use daily airport parking, as I mentioned in my previous response, I work for a living. I flight a couple of times a year but I usually park for a week, so I have no use for your daily parking vouchers.

Sincerely,
[redacted]

My initial response stands but I would be interested in seeing you photos taken on August 30th of the Short Term Garage Entrance that states a parking charge of $75 per/wk.  As you know there is no such sign.  The vouchers are also clear.  Each courtesy voucher I sent you is valid for 1 day as indicated on the coupon.  Parked 1 day use 1 voucher, park 2 days use 2 vouchers park 3 days etc....

exited immediately (no charge under 5 minutes).  The exit cashier could also have provided assistance by directing you to one of our less expensive surface lots.  I thought we were being more than fair by providing credit vouchers for your next visit.  We can not offer a refund since you choose the most expensive facility and were charged the correct posted rate.

Good morning,
I am responding to the enclosed complaint (ID # [redacted]).  Parking...

rates industry wide are based on an entry time and and exit time.  A day is any 24 hour period and starts the moment a customer pulls a ticket. If a customer enters on Sunday morning at 4:28 am and returns at 4:28 am the following Sunday that is 1 week.  If the same customer returns the following Sunday later than 4:28 am they are charged 1 week plus any additional hours up to the daily rate for the additional day. Our Supervisor [redacted]. explained to this customer that the correct rate was charged. The rates are clearly posted at the entrance/exits to all our parking facilities. Please call me if you wish to discuss further.  Thank you.
