To whom it may concern,On January 14, 2016, a proposal was offered to [redacted] for roof repairs at [redacted](see attachment). [redacted] did mention a possible insurance claim, but elected to have Bowtie Roofing start the work. The proposal was accepted and the work was completed as described in the proposal. After the work was completed, [redacted] informed me of a piece of plywood on the ceiling ,inside the house that looked damaged. It was explained to her the work that would need to be done to repair it since that was not in the original proposal. [redacted] did not agree with the verbal quote for the repairs to the damaged plywood inside the house. She stated that Bowtie Roofing should have repaired the damaged plywood inside the house while repairing the outside of the roof. That would have and could have been done, except the damage to the ceiling was not in the proposal nor mentioned until the job was complete. In my conversation with her on 8/12/16, I was informing her how claims with insurance operated and I offered to call up the adjuster at [redacted] for her. She declined my offer.I have completed the scope of work that was in the original bid and all other attempts to remedy the situation have been rejected.Thank you for your assistance in this matter,
