Review: Eric B[redacted] has done work for us in the past. After a recent job installing bathroom vanities, we spoke to him about tiling our laundry room. We let him know how this had to be done prior to our having cabinets installed on 3/27/15. We agreed on a price of $475 and he told us he'd be at our home at 9:00 a.m. on 3/23/15. Mr. B[redacted] never showed up on 3/23 and didn't have the courtesy to call us. My husband, Jim, was able to get in touch with Mr. B[redacted] and he re-scheduled the job for Wed., 3/25 at 9:00. Mr. B[redacted] did show up but not until later on that afternoon. Therefore, he didn't have time to grout it. He told us he'd come back on Thurs., 3/26 to grout it -- which he did. When my husband arrived at the home around 5:30 to pay him, Mr. B[redacted] was packing up to leave. Mr. B[redacted] told Jim that he expected the grout to crack near the threshold so he'd be back to fix it. Within a day, Jim called Mr. B[redacted] to let him know that the grout did, in fact, crack. He also told Mr. B[redacted] that he left his bag of grout. Mr. B[redacted] told us he'd come to repair it. I personally discussed with him about using a different threshold so it covers the place where the grout is cracking. The one he removed was much wider. Since then, we've left several messages, including an e-mail, for Mr. B[redacted] and have yet to hear from him. He has left us no choice but to file a complaint.Desired Settlement: We feel that he should make the repair by replacing the threshold that he installed so the grout doesn't crack.
