As a follow up comment to Boss Fire Service, [redacted] has had a dedicated contract for all of their units/branches with another service company for many years. Any of the service performed by Boss in the past was done without proper authorization from our corporate office by the employees. I authorized the service, but it was not according to corporate policy, and that was my mistake for not checking prior to the service being done. It would be a courtesy on your company’s behalf to ask if a service contract already exists before doing the work. The rep was thorough and professional, just not authorized. Marie D***

[redacted]. Mrs. Marie D[redacted] had detailed that our service representative "presented himself to a satellite branch of corporate office representing himself as the fire extinguisher maintenance company authorized to do maintenance checks for our building, which he was not authorized to do." After looking into this matter, it appears Boss Fire Protection has, in fact, previously conducted fire extinguisher service and maintenance for the location(s) in South Jordan. Marie D[redacted] signed the authorization box at the bottom of the invoice on 04/21/2015. This notice reads: **"I authorize Boss Fire Protection technician(s) to service and perform maintenance on our fire extinguishers and/or suppression system; I certify that I hold proper authority to permit this service."**Although yearly maintenance of fire extinguishers is required for businesses, Boss Fire Protection is a non-contract company meaning none of Boss Fire Protection's customers or clients are obligated to continue receiving their annual fire extinguisher service through our company.
