Book Rescue

Betsy Lewis rescued a children's book I've been looking for for years and sent it to me promptly when I ordered it. It had been a library book, well loved for probably more than 75 years, so it had a lot of old scotch tape in it, but the hard cover was well reinforced and neatly covered with plastic and I will cherish it for years to come. She enclosed an explanation of her own life and love for books and animals, and I was delighted to learn that there are people like her out there who do what they do for love.
