I purchased a crib for my daughter 6 years ago that converted into a full size bed. Well, six years later and the frame is cracked. The bed literally fell while my daughter was sleeping on it. She weighs 60 lbs. My husband is 180lbs and I am 145lbs. There is no one jumping on the bed. The fact that the "wood" was literally cracked on both sides and just plummeted to the floor is unacceptable. I cannot find a viable website for the Bonavita company. I have furniture from 30 years ago that is still in amazing shape. I feel so frustrated about the lack of quality. I paid $1200 for this crib.
Review: I bought a dresser that has 3 defective drawers. I ordered new panels from the company, through Babies R Us where the dresser was purchased, back in August of 2013. To this day I have still not received these panels despite many calls and emails to the company and a customer service representative. At one time I was told that it would be 4-6 weeks before the panels ever arrived to the company and then I would have to wait for them to be delivered to me and that I should just take the dresser back to Babies R Us and get a new one. No one cared about the inconvenience that this would cause since I would have to empty the dresser of all my babies clothing and then I would have nothing to use as a changing table while I wait for a new dresser to come in. I opted to wait the 4-6 weeks with the confirmation that it would definitely be coming in. The last update that I received was 12/12/13. I have called and emailed the customer service representative numerous times and have not received any replies. I have a 1 year warranty through the company for this dresser and I feel that by the time this matter is even close to being resolved that warranty will be expired.Desired Settlement: At this point I would either like to get a new dresser, since that seems like it would be easier than waiting for the panels, or I would like to get a full refund for this defective product. This is such horrible customer service and whenever I have called the company they acted like it was such a bother that I was calling. Its really disappointing that you spend your hard earned money on something that ends up being defective and it takes months and months to try and get something resolved.

Review: We ordered 2 pieces of baby nursery furniture from Bonavita, through [redacted]. Order was placed on January 17, 2014. After estimated shipping dates passed without the product being shipped, I was in our local [redacted] around March 28, only to find out the product was expected at Bonavita's warehouse the following date. I was told it would then be shipped. Our money was accepted by Direct Buy for a product that was not available, yet we were not informed of that fact when we ordered the product OR until two months later.
The baby was born on Feb 14, 2014. She is now over 7 weeks old and [redacted] website now says the product's "estimated ship date" is April 7, 2014.
No company should treat customers like this. Lack of communication is deadly to businesses.Desired Settlement: I want [redacted] and Bonavita to refund the shipping charges for this order ($177.96) and get this furniture RUSHED to us in perfect condition.

I had submitted a part request via their web-site and didn't get contacted for several weeks. I then started calling their customer service number. No one has ever answered. I get stuck in an endless loop customer service loop (have kept it on for hours).
As you can see from the following thread, this is a recurring problem for this company.

They are not living up to the terms of this government mandated recall, which borders on criminal.Desired Settlement: I need them to promptly contact me and send over a crib conversion part.
Review: My husband and I purchased a baby changing table that is made by Lajobi under the [redacted] brand. When attempting to assemble the product it was discovered that a piece which supports the baby is cracked. We stopped assembly because there is no way that any parent would put their child on a broken piece of furniture. We emailed the company on March 21, 2014 and have heard nothing since and all signs point to us not hearing anything from this company. This company claims that there is a 5 year warranty and to not use the product if it is defective, but we are seeking assistance in replacing the defective part.Desired Settlement: Respectfully request that the defective piece (Back Rail) be replaced. The product that we are having a problem with is the [redacted] Dressing Table in White. Model Number [redacted] manufactured on November 11, 2012. The PO# is [redacted].
Review: I purchased a crib which was delivered to my home. After putting the crib together we discovered that "part F" is missing. Model # [redacted] color is Expresso [redacted] 4 in 1 convertible crib licensed and sold with[redacted]. I filed out a parts request online, called multiple times and I am hung up on each time. All I need is the one missing piece that holds the mattress in.Desired Settlement: Send me the missing part! At least call me or try to contact me to let me know what is going on.
Review: I am looking on line for a nightstand for my children the same line as their beds. Found it on this website [redacted]-series-nightstand-country-wheat-distressed.html. I ordered it, have not received any correspondence about confirmation charges or shipping. I have written twice via the company's "Contact us" link, no response. No phone numbers listed and the "About us" link is in another languageDesired Settlement: Would like to know if they have the material and have it shipped.
Review: I was told to contact Lajobi for replacement parts that never came with a graco crib that was purchased at Walmart from a baby registry as a gift to me and my wife. I wanted to mount the crib to surprise her and surprise, surprise no hardware. I contact Walmart and they told me to contact Lajobi which apparently also goes by bonavita cause they have the same contact number and address. I get messages due to high call volume and leave a message and we will get back to you. No luck! Now what the hell do I do with a crib that I can't put together cause there is nothing to hold it together. The crib is from Graco makers sold by Walmart and I intend to contact Graco to see If they can help. In the meantime someone should do something about this so called Lajobi/ bonavita company.Desired Settlement: Have a crib to put my baby in which he is due like yesterday.
Review: I purchased a Bonavita Francais 5 drawer chest from Crib Outlet in New Jersey (now closed) on May 3, 2012. Order number 51590. The top of the 5 drawer chest, the paint is peeling away from the top of the dresser. The dresser has not been exposed to moisture or water or any extreme conditions. The double dresser and the crib that I purchased are not having any problems. I spent a great deal of money on this and do not expect this to start to fall apart after 2 years. I have emailed lajobi two times and have not heard back from them.Desired Settlement: I want this item repaired or replaced
