I had a hair color service done at this salon by Christie Brenn on July 28, 2020. We had a long discussion before about how I wanted to be a neutral blonde and did not like ash tones in my hair. After the service was performed, I informed Christie that I was not happy with the overall tone and saw my hair as too ashy. I told her I would wash it in a couple days and let her know if I was happy or not with it.
Two days later (July 30, 2020) and after washing my hair multiple times with a clarifying shampoo and dish soap to try and remove some of the tone, I told Christie via text message that I still was not happy with my hair's tone. It still looked ashy to me and I did not like it. She knew I was out of town and she said she would re-tone my hair once I got back.
I texted Christie again on August 6, 2020 at 9:24 am to set up an appointment for a re-tone once I returned. We set an appointment for 12:30 pm on August 18, 2020 and I received both a text and email confirmation of that appointment.
At 7:03 PM on August 6, 2020, Christie texts me to tell me that she is going to cancel my appointment and adds "I want you to be happy with your hair, and unfortunately I do not think I can provide that for you." I immediately requested a refund since she was unwilling to fix my hair after insisting that she would re-tone it upon my return.
I have not heard back since August 6th, 2020 at 7:03 pm.

Refund I am willing to pay for a haircut, but want a refund for the tip, the card tax, as well as the color service since she has now refused to correct the tone like she said she would.
Christie is a contracted booth renter within our salon. She performed a service on ***, producing results identical to the photos *** provided for inspiration. She text after the appointment telling Christie "Thank you so much for the hair, it feels a million times better!" Two days later, after using harsh cleansers on her, she said her hair was too ash. Christie originally scheduled an appointment to retone it, but feeling as though she couldn't provide what *** was looking for (after producing identical results to the inspo photos) Christie decided it best to no longer provide services and made a referral to a reputable salon. Bohemian Stylehouse did not receive payment from ***, Christie did. It is up to the discretion of our booth renters how they choose to handle these situations. I also have photos of her hair before, after, and the inspiration photos to compare.
