We received message on 5/*/that was left over the weekend on 5/*/in regards to an unauthorized charge processed to *** *** Credit CardUnfortunately our billing department failed to properly remove *** *** automatic billing in April when he closed his accountI returned his
message as soon as I removed it from the machine and confirmed with *** *** directly that this was in fact a charge processed to his account by mistakeI immediately reversed the transaction and processed a refund back onto the card that was charged as well as offered compensation for any overdraft fees that may have been applied to his account due to the unauthorized charge, which he declinedI then followed up with our billing department to make sure *** *** automatic billing account was removed from our systemWe acknowledge the charge was an unfortunate mistake and will make sure to avoid any issues like this in the fut ure
