I love the car I purchased but the customer service after the fact has been terrible. I was originally willing to drive over an hour to get my car serviced but will no longer be returning to this location and will take my business elsewhere. They seem like genuine caring people to start but once you purchase from them they do a complete one-eighty and do not care to help resolve your issues which they originally said they would take care of.
Wrote a check for a used vehicle on June 5th. The check cleared my bank on June 6th. Dealership refuses to precess title for 2 weeks. This was to be a gift to a young couple with a newborn with cystic fibrosis. They have no way to get the baby to the hospital for doctor appointments.
Review: Over the past 15 plus years my husband and I have bought 3 new Subaru Legacy s from Boarman Subaru, we also do all the required maintenance at the Subaru Dealership...Our 2005 Subaru Legacy had to be towed to the dealership Feb 17th 2014. Although we had done a 1400$ service 6 weeks earlier, we were told the damage was too severe and over the phone we were offered 500$ (for a car that we bought for 30.000, 9 years earlier). Although we were VERY disappointed with the car, we agreed .. When my husband went to the dealership [redacted] said that there was a service charge (that apparently happened to be exactly 500$), that was never mentioned to us before. The title was signed to the dealership without giving us the 500$ we were promised. We were given neither sales nor service receipt. When I later asked [redacted] to pay us the 500$ promised, he refused. We believed we had a verbal agreement with Subaru Dealership, that the Dealership did not honor opting instead to swindle 500$ from us. We are very disappointed with the dishonest, cheap, unprofessional way Boardman Subaru treated a long time loyal customer..Desired Settlement: I request 500$ per verbal agreement

On either 3-3 or 3-4 I received a 2 page document from Boardman Subaru. Page 1 was an invoice for total of 497.55 for tear down of the car. It also stated that an authorization for a [redacted] to fix the clutch. I do not dispute that we did authorize to fix the clutch, however the 450$ charge didn't come up till we surrendered the vehicle after we were promised 500$ for it. The invoice had no signature from either the dealer or the customer The second page was a check for 2.45 $ that of course I didn't cash) Both documents were prepared after the fact , on 2-28-14 a week after the surrender of the vehicle and one day after I complained to you. On 3-5 had a phone conversation with Mr Rob Fellman with whom I couldn't reach an agreement and who said " I don't need your snooty attitude or your 500$"
