Blue Stripe K9

We have had such a great experience with blue stripe k9 and Tyler. Our dog finally learned to walk on leash after me trying for 3 years! I love that he kept us updated and sent pictures so I knew my baby was in good hands. He also helped build my dogs confidence which has helped so much. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my baby, we will be back for sure.

I had such a great experience with Tyler. My dog, Xena (a German Shepherd), was with him to board and train for four weeks.

Before Tyler helped her, she had a lot of trouble with loud noises. It would cause her to run off and hide. She would even sometimes hide when the sound of the wind was strong. She also developed a fear of strangers, especially men. Even though, I consistently took her for walks and to the dog park and this fear continued to develop. She had no confidence, and this coupled with her fear, at times, caused her to act aggressively. I, unknowingly, also did not help the whole process by avoiding certain situations and babying her.

I met with Tyler and told him about Xena's behavior, and he said that she may be dealing with fear-aggression and that he would be able to help her.

I decided to have Xena board with Tyler for a month. I can completely and wholeheartedly say, she came back as my Xena, but with much more confidence. Her behavior has changed dramatically for the better. Something as simple as loud pots and pans falling, does not scare her. She just sits there and it does not phase her one bit. The vacuum cleaner, which before would send her running, just has her starring at me, but staying put. Noises from the outside do not scare her. She follows commands almost always the first time they are given, even with things she was afraid of doing before, like jumping on higher surfaces.

Because of Xena's fear of men, I sometimes had to place a muzzle on her, and it was a struggle. She now walks to me when I say, "muzzle" and calmly lets me put it on her. She also has a weighted vest, which Tyler recommended, and this has helped with her anxiety. She never wanted me to put the vest on her and now when I grab it, she runs to me to put it on.

Her fear aggression has improved because she has a lot of confidence, that Tyler helped her gain.

Tyler just did an awesome job. Every day I am still discovering something else that he trained her on.

After the four weeks , Tyler brought Xena back home and spent 3 hours with her at my house explaining everything to me and how to continue the training that he had started. He physically showed my how to continue the training and answered all of my questions. Tyler is extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend him to anyone to train their dog.

Tyler has continued to follow up after the training. He continues to answer my questions and give advice of what steps to take next.

The training that Tyler provides is very affordable. I can't thank Tyler enough. He has helped Xena live a much better and happier life without all of the fear.

When it comes to quality, professionalism, results, and bang for your buck. Blue Stripe K9 is among the best. In just a few private (and affordable) sessions, Tyler helped us rehabilitate our dog, Abe, who suffered from severe separation anxiety since we rescued him as a puppy. Tyler even takes the time to check in on Abe every now and then to make sure he's still doing well. Tyler is hands down a remarkable dog lover, owner, and trainer. He genuinely cares about each dog and takes time to tailor the concerns of his clients into personal sessions. The results speak for themselves. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog. Hands down, Blue Stripe K9 is the best in Middle Tennessee.

There are no words to describe how amazing Tyler with Blue Stripe K9 is. We sent our Bernedoodle, Moose, to board and train with Tyler. Moose is 1.5 years old and full of energy. Tyler was so patient with him. Moose is certainly not the only one who learned a lot from Tyler. My husband and I learned so much from Tyler. There were things we were doing to reinforce the behaviors we did not want without even knowing it. He worked with us to correct Moose and to help us change what we were doing for the better. Moose now walks on and off a leash so well. He used to be so distracted and would pull when he saw other dogs and people. He now walks right beside us. Moose was very scared of strangers but because Tyler took him out in public for trainings, now he is not. He used to bark at strangers when they approached him. He now lets them pet him and loves it. This is the best thing we could have done for our dog. We feel like our relationship with our dog is much stronger since training. Tyler is always there to answer questions that we have. I am so glad we did our research and found Tyler. We would recommend 110%.
