I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. My concern is the employee which I had the communications with made it very clear that he would force me to file a small claims court case to get my money backGiven the dishonest representation of the car, and his threats of making the refund difficult to obtain for someone out of town, I have no confidence that the check will be goodThey have also lied about not being able to reverse the charges, they lied about VA car inspections include checking the frame, and they lied about them gladly refunding the deposit if the car wasn't as expectedMy credit card company says that all they have to do is to notify them and the reversal can be handled immediatelyAs it stands now, I have disputed the charges with my credit card, and they have removed the charge from my account until Blue Ridge Auto respondsThey have until the end of March to respondIf they chose not to respond, then they default, and the reversal becomes permanentIf they dispute it, then my credit card company will decide who to believeThe easiest, fastest, and cheapest fix is to have them reverse the charges, or acknowledge with the credit card company that the dispute is valid, or at least that they do not contest it., and they will reverse it for them.In addition, I do not want them to know my addressI don't want to be victim to any future harrassmentIf a check is the only option, I will accept a bank check from [redacted] While the credit card reversal is preferred, if a bank check is the only option they will entertain, then I will accept $to allow them to pay for the check and [redacted] Priority Mail day delivery (less than $6)I will not accept a company checkAs I have said, I am convinced that is their scheme to get the credit card out of the picture and make it a small claims court case between me and them Regards, [redacted] ***
It was nice speaking with you I understand The circumstances and willing to do a refund on this matter via company check thank you
My sister had an accident (hit a deer) that totaled her vehicle so I called to check on a vehicle that she saw online ( [redacted] ) and get hours of operation I was told it was there and come on overUpon arriving I was informed that the vehicle had been soldI asked the purchase price of the van he said $4,which was $under the listing price of $4,which led me to believe they were open to negotiationsHe said they had another location under the same name we could look there and call him if we found something to discuss a dealWe found something she liked they had listed at $3,so due to the fact the informed me they took $less for the van I made an offer of $expecting a counter offerHe said he would call me backI took my family to a local restaurant and waited on the call35-minutes later no phone call, so I called himHe was agitated but said the price is $3,with a day warranty $3,without, so I said ok how about $3,to which he said I gave you the price, buy it or don't, take it or leave it, it doesn't matter to meSo I said thank you and informed my sister we would not be buying the carWe continued to shop on [redacted] and found a van at a car place just a few miles away from Blue RidgeI called asked them again about a vehicle and hours of operation, they said come on down and look at the vehicle so we didUpon arriving, we were informed yet again that a vehicle had just been sold, but they had lots of vehicles that we could look atI was in shock! The whole time we were there they are talking to each other in a foreign language as if they had something to hideIt was incredibly rudeMy sister was literally in tears by this point, so I told her I would call Blue Ridge and see if they still had the Envevour and was interested in making a dealThe manager said he had the vehicle and was no t at the location but would send a guy to meet meI got there and waited about minutes then up pulls a decked out sedan and a guy gets out, I say that I had called the manager and was waiting to talk about a vehicleHe was incredibly rude, told me he knew who I was, and he was the manager of this locationSo I said ok, I would like to make an offer on this vehicleListed at $3,I offered $3,to which he says $3,and I try to counter with $3,he became agitated and said I know who you are you offered $2,the other day and you are lucky that I am even talking to youTo which I replied, I am lucky? I have cash and anyone in the world would take cashThank you have a good dayI then got back in the vehicle ready to leave and my sister was crying againShe had been without a vehicle for a week and begged me to go back and talk to the guySo I didUpon entering the location he says ahhh your back so I said I'll take it for $3,he says ok then when we are ready to do the deal he says oh yea that is $processingThe price just went up $I was just ready to be done at that pointhe continued to talk with his partner in a foreign language through out the process and in the very end his partner tried to raise the price on the processing fee! When I called him out on it he looked his partner the manager who looked at me rudely rolling eyes and said just give to to him at $as if I was doing something wrongThen he had the audacity to say to me, "you have money you are driving a $50,vehicle (referring to my Jeep Grand Cherokee) I can't believe you trying to talk me down on price"I have never felt so unappreciated as a customer in my lifetime the price changing and misleading conversationIt was a terrible experience that I would not recommend to anyone!
