I have hired many contractors for many trades both personally and for my real estate clients. I have never been unhappy or have felt cheated, as I have by this contractor.

He had a clear scope of work with pictures and a drawing of the deck that I wanted built including dimensions and where and how many steps. During the course of the job there were many things that happened but the end result is he put work off on my other contractor without paying him, built a deck that was Not what I had communicated verbally or in writing and after repetitive requests still has still not provided me with a receipt for my payment (he said his text was receipt) I found him to be argumentative and unprofessional and am very disappointed in this contractors work and ethics.
