Bloomhouse Landscape and Irrigation

on July 15, I Contracted with Bloomhouse LAndscape and Irrigation Tree Divison to take down a tree on my property at ***, remove all debris and grind/remove the stump. Work was started on July 15th and debris removed on Friday July 18. I was told that the stump was to be removed the following week. I contacted Mr. Shawn *** the person in charge of the crew and was assured the stump would be removed within a week. After several phone calls, nothing has been done as of Friday August 14, 2020. Today I tried to contact the office and Mr. and have not received a return reply about the situation. To get the stump removed, I will now have to contract the work to another firm costing approx. $500.

Seaport Landscape took a 1300.00 deposit to install sod and only cut the grass low and never returned to finish the job after a month of promising and countless excuses. The yard has now been in a mess for 2 months now with no sod. They refuse to give a refund.

We gave *** $1300 for the tile needed for an outdoor project. He cashed our check, never ordered the tile, never completed the project, and refuses to refund our money. He is no longer at the address of record for Seaport Landscape.

Seaport Landscaping Mngt. LLC was sent to me by Porch.com. Mr. Boone showed up to my home on Monday 7/30/18 we discussed the project and seeing as though his background had been checked out by an Online Company, I figured it was a go. I wrote the first check of half the project ($1289.00) to have gutter drainage installed, they didn’t start until Thursday 8/2/18 after I contacted them. They came back a second time Thursday 8/9/18 with me having to contact him to see what the delay was, again since he was promising to be back sooner. During that morning Mr. Boone and I talked about the rest of the project to install a French drain in front of the garage. I completed payment for the first unfinished project $1284.00 and $1100.00 of the second ($2384.00). After he received the second check he worked approx. another hour and he and his crew left supposable for lunch and I haven’t seen them since, leaving the shovels and such right where they were working.
After emails and telephone calls I told him that I needed to cancel the second project and please return the $1100.00 deposit and complete the first job because I was being pressured that the work they had done was and insurance hazard and I was being fined. He stated several times he would be back and as of today 8/30/18, I have not seen Mr. Boone or anyone from this company nor does Mr. Boone contact me. I am out of $3669.00 and have an unfinished project, insurance liabilities, being fined and now must find someone to correct and complete the first job that was started. Do not be fooled that just because we use online sites to find Pros we are safe, there are scammers and liars on also on those sites. Oh, and I was later sent the company’s Revdex.com report from Porch after having hired, REALLY!!!!!!!

We have been using this company for over 3 years to maintain 2 apartment complexes we own in Savannah and 1 that we own in Pooler. They never missed an appointment and they are always there on schedule, if they miss someone always calls us in advance and let us know. Keep doing good business!!! I will use them again and do highly recommend them.

I must say that I have dealt with this company for over 4 years prior to seeing these negative comments. I was shocked because they provide services to over 30 people in my neighborhood. These guys never missed an appointment and never stole from me nor my neighbors. I personally utilized their services to install a patio, walkway and to install pavers and an outdoor kitchen around my pool. These guys performed as promised and I paid them well over $50,000. I asked the owner about these comments and he stated that he couldn't satisfy everyone and that the majority of his work comes from word of mouth. He also seems set that the people only go on sites to post negative comments, as a result, I made it my business to start posting positive comments when I have good experiences.
Seaport Landscape is a great company and they do exactly what they promise. I will be talking to my neighbors to gather support for this awesome company.
