Blink Fitness

During the Summer of 2019, I was at Ridgemont Plaza in Greece, NY and saw that a new fitness place was opening. I stopped to inquire and spoke to the manager who was in the foyer. The place was still under construction. The manager said I could sign up for $1 to try the gym out when they opened. I put my credit card into the system and authorized them to pull ONE DOLLAR from my account. The gym didn't end up opening until late November. I never set foot in the gym nor did I authorize any debits from my account but the $1. On 2/3/2020 Blink withdrew $15 from my account and then on 2/4/2020 they withdrew $49.99!!!! I immediately call the gym and spoke to the person answering the phone. I explained I did not authorize those charges and she said, "You would have had to come to the gym to cancel your membership before the pull took place!" She was very rude and condescending. I informed her that I only authorized that $1 charge and had never even been to the gym after it opened and I wanted my $$ returned. She said it was too late for that!!!
