Owner/Operator of Blessed Recovery is extremely shady.
Mr*** was given an assignment to pick up a voluntary surrender food truck which belonged to a client who filed bankruptcy on which we have a lien on. He was instructed to deliver it to *** Auto Auction. He took to his lot instead and went thought the contents of the truck and sent me pictures. He recommended he can sell because he can get us more as to what auction would bring. I agreed to let him sell truck and send us proceeds minus his tow fee of $300. He said he sold it for $9000 and never sent us a check as he promised. Instead he sent a certified letter for $1800 storage fees. The guy is a complete ripoff and should be ashamed to use the word "Blessed" in his business name. After reading some of his reviews, I can tell I am not the first person he has done this to. He should not be operating a business and prey on people's trustworthiness. He corresponded via emails(which I still have saved) and some phone calls. He refuses to reply to any of my calls, emails, and text messages. I am at a loss as to what to do next, my client fell on hard times and declared bankruptcy, surrendered the collateral for us to disposition and apply proceeds to their balance. He needs to pay the amount he promised or return our collateral in the condition it was in when picked up.
I want Mr *** to pay the $9000 he sold our collateral for or take it the auction as he was initially instructed to do.
Lorenzo E damaged and failed to return multiple personal items and will not answer or return my phone calls.
Late August. Exact dates unknown.
Lorenzo is the most unprofessional person that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My wife and I had a car that was repossessed, which I completely understand. No hard feelings on this, it was what had to happen. What I have a problem with however is his blatant disregard for our personal property.
We attempted to contact him multiple times before he returned our phone call, after which he attempted to charge for "storage" of our items. We politely explained to him that this is not only against ***'s policy, but against the law in the state of Tennessee pursuant to Tenn. Code Ann. § 47-50-113 and Tenn. Code Ann. § 55-16-106. When we attempted to explain this to him, he hung up and stopped answering our calls or returning voicemails.
We finally had to reach out to law enforcement and *** who had to contact him and remind him that he is not allowed to charge us. After this he agreed to release our items. He would not divulge his place of business for us to be able to search the vehicle ourselves and instead threw 2 trash bags of our items on the ground and made my wife sign a piece of paper stating that we received all our items in good condition BEFORE he would release them to us, then sped off claiming that he had to be somewhere else.
Upon being able to check the items we noticed that many were damaged due to his "storage" that he wanted to charge us for, and a few items were completely missing as well. One of these was an irreplaceable sentimental CD that belonged to my daughter.
I attempted to call Mr. E multiple times and left numerous voicemails as well as sent e-mails all to no avail. He has yet to respond to a single one of them. For someone that is supposed to be a veteran he has no problem running a shady business and breaking the law. It's not just the consumer either, there are reviews that point out how he is bad at his job of actually recovering cars as well. His only positive reviews are from himself and his wife which should be a huge red flag for anyone considering using him.
I would like my personal items returned, and would also like reimbursement for the ones that he damaged.
