Review: I purchased a brand new Husqvarna tractor from Blair Auto. The 1st one was defective. The 2nd brand new one, which replaced the original unit, was used for 7.8 hours. It was just slightly over a month old and the pedal came apart, there was a loud sound coming from the belt, chucks missing from the steering wheel, a defective deck, and a bad battery. The unit would not start up and when it finally did start up, it smoked so bad and gave off heat. I contacted [redacted] several times to refund the unit, and he declined to do so. On 3 occasions, I asked to talk to [redacted], the store owner, and he would not give me his number. He kept saying that [redacted] would call me but never did return my call. I called Husqvarna and they said Blair Auto had the autonomy to provide me with a full refund. I told this to [redacted] but he still declined. He wanted to service a unit that I feel is unsafe and that was used twice. The unit was defective to begin with and he knew this because he ordered me a new deck when I called him about it being damaged. He should have gave me my money back at that point. The first unit came with a manual that was water damaged and again was defective. The second lawn tractor he dropped off had two keys instead of three (like the first unit), and it came with a hat and a t-shirt. The same tractor apparently came with different items even though they were just two days apart. I paid via check for the unit. The total cost that I want returned to me is $2279.00. I don't want the unit or want it serviced because it is unsafe. I spoke to [redacted] and [redacted] at extension [redacted], who said that it could be returned to the dealer for a refund. Again, [redacted], store manager, is not agreeing to do so. According to the Sale of Goods Act of 1979, the item has to be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and match any description given. The item is not quality and doesn't fit the description of brand new since it came with a defective deck and steering wheel.Desired Settlement: I will give Blair Auto their defective lawn tractor back and want a full refund of $2279.00. [redacted], store manager, wants to service the unit, but it is unsafe and was defective from the beginning. I want a full refund and the machine can be sent back to Husqvarna.
