Customer was towed into dealership August 4th after close of Service Dept hours.Tom H*** our Service Manager was still here and was asked by Tow company for assistance in unloading RV from tow truck.The tow truck operator advised Tom that there was a brake issue and also the customer told Tom to be careful because of the brake issue.Toms recollection of the evening seem to be clear as he also suffered a injury that required a Labor and Industry claim.It seems to be consistent with the employees involved that repair time was of the essence and customer needed to be on the road ASAP.We did our best to expedite parts and finished the job Friday August 7th.The intial mispricing on the invoice has been taken care of and a new repair quote mailed to the customer.As for the rear differential replacement,the rear differential replacement was not necessary to make repairs to the obvious intial complaint,rear brake failure and bearings.Our Diagnosis of water in the rear differential did leave us to believe that there was a issue with the axle.After draining the axle and taking customer for a ride he said his coach always had that noise.The customer even states in one of his responses to Revdex.com states that our technician was bothered about the axle and for the customer to monitor the differential.It is our standing that we would have liked to continue with more in -depth diagnosis but that the customers were pressing to leave by the weekend.We are here to sell service repair and not turn likely repairs away.Our position is that after discussions with the customer their desire to leave was more pressing than waiting for more repairs.We have adjusted the intial bill and decline to refund any monies from the corrected billing

After being contact by customer, I reviewed service invoice from 8/5/and determined that Blade Chevrolet had overcharged on the partsNormally we charged msrp on non GM parts, and even thou the part prices had been entered correctly originally at some point the parts pricing matrix had
automatically marked up the prices, most likely when one of the Non Ford parts had been entered on repair orderThe dealership had charged customer hrs of labor, the technician had almost hours spent on repairAfter reviewing repairs I decided that hrs should have been charged to customerA refund check in the amount of $was mailed to customerThe customer has requested a updated copy of repair order reflecting correct pricesI cannot go back and change the prices or labor on original repair order since it has been finalizedI will send customer a letter with the break down of corrected parts, labor and taxI helped unload the motorhome when it arrived at dealership, and was told by customers and tow truck driver to be careful because the brakes did not seem to be working very goodThe technician had spoken with the male customer about water in the differential, and it was mutually decided to only drain and fill differential with new fluidIt would have required more time to pursue the water in differential farther since the drive line would need disconnected and the rear differential pumpkin assembly removedThe male customer said he would have it checked when they got homeAfter repairing the motorhome the technician noted to customer that there is noise from the rear axleCustomer stated that it was for this motorhome, and did not want to pursue it at this time
