Blacktop Paving - Pave Rite

Review: June 3, 2013 Pave Rite stopped at our house and stated he could repave our driveway as they were in the area and were paving down the street. We allowed them to do it for a price of $3850. When they were finished the owner said for $5000 he would seal it in 2 weeks. I paid him the $5000 and he took the check to the bank that day and cashed it. It has been 2 months and it still is not sealed. I have tried to contact him 4 times, with no response. The paving is ok, but I would like the money($1150) back for the sealing. The owner, [redacted], said I should call him with any questions, but he doesn't respond.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund of $1150.00.

Review: [redacted]r the owner and operator was called on a warranty problem. The asphalt job that he did on my driveway was not up to his job obligations and work he said he was going to do. I have called more than ten times with 1 answer in which he said he would be up in my area within 2 weeks. I never saw him nor did he return any phone calls in which I have recorded.Desired Settlement: I would like hm to come back and honor his warranty or refund my money for the job not being finished. He must contact me and personally appear here in order to discuss what he is going to do to resolve this problem
