had him replace our custom-made but outdated and tired 29-year-old oak-and almond laminate cabinet doors in our 15- by 18-foot kitchen with gorgeous cherry wood doors and matching veneer finish on the cabinetsHe was a micrometer-exact perfectionist, an old-world style craftsman and truly a creative artisan, and he gave us exactly what we wanted and had hoped forHis work included fully rebuilding three of our double-door cabinets to accommodate appliance changes
In addition to being a consummate, meticulous professional, we found *** to be most pleasant, friendly, accommodating and conscientiousHe carefully protected our tile flooring with Masonite, and each day he covered every countertop before starting, and prior to calling it a day he would clean up going home everything so that we would have use of the kitchen again for dinner and next day's breakfast
He also checked with us throughout the project to make certain what we were seeing met our expectationsWith all his finishing touches, he achieved a perfect scoreWith the refacing, we have an entirely new and beautiful kitchen that we love and are extremely proud of

Our experience with *** *** of Blackstone Design was absolutely wonderful The work he does is excellent in care and detail We called him for a quote after the basic quote he gave some excellent suggestions, many of which we opted to go with He also gave us advise regarding other elements, for example, he knew we were looking for new lighting and he advised us about not using the ones we were first considering, explained why and enabled us to find just the right ones Another instance, we were removing the wood floor in the kitchen/laundry room area and brought home some sample tiles I knew which one I wanted but he made the suggestion that I buy one box (which would be returned if it was not the one) and lay a larger area down to really see what it was going to look like It was a great idea, I did it, and it was IT He knows his business and has a fine esthetic understand of design and also creates beautiful rooms, does meticulous and obviously from his book of past works makes gorgeous pieces of furniture
*** from Blackstone Designs did a great job on my kitchen upgrade My new countertops were installed at a price far less than what I was quoted by a big box store He had excellent design ideas for my backsplash The best part was a whole new lighting plan with energy efficient LEDs Quality of work was excellent, and no mess was left behind when the job was complete
