of Blackjack garage doors came to give an estimate on a new gate motor on December 20, 2019. He advised it would be $800 with installation for a new motor with a warranty included. Unfortunately he asked for half upfront and that he would be back the next day to install the motor. After weeks of phone calls and empty promises that he would be coming to finish the job he was paid; he never showed up or advised that he would be returning my $400. I want my money back, but I realize that will be very difficult since he did not provide me with a receipt. You can tell from his reviews online that this is a regular occurrence regarding their service.
Usually I am smarter than give someone money without a guarantee of services.
