I apologize for not responding before today, but was unaware that our company was required to do so.We do not have anything to offer the customer in monetary reward because we did not collect any fees from him at the time he released his vehicleOur fees were paid by theinsurer. We feel no obligation to apologize to him or his wife because they were aggressive, rude and unapologetic to our staff.I would appreciate this complaint being closed as resolved. Please do not hesitate to contact me if any further correspondence is required.Sincerely,*** Bitetto Office Manager
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
As of today I picked up lien filed with DMV Feb 1st. I will have to go to court to have it removed. They filed their lien after they received payment from my insurance company.

Review: My wife was in accident and AAA hired Bitetto to tow our Truck to Fix Auto services for repairs. Since they were closed during holiday weekend we gave Bitetto address to Fix Auto and they said they would deliver it Monday. They didn't deliver the vehicle and we had to track it down on New Years. They made get a notary sign release on New Year's Day after we called to get status of our vehicle. They hung up on us and we had no choice but to comply with their request. Our insurance had a difficult time getting our vehicle from them and after it was released, Bitetto filed a lien against our vehicle and send a copy to Toyota Financial Services. They did this to be spiteful as there is no merit for the lien. We have filed a complaint with AAA and they said they will take action , but that doesn't suffice the issue. The fact these people have B- tells me they have bad service. They are thug services that needs to be addressed and put on some kind of notice. I had no control of them being a service to me and puts my family in danger with their actions. They have my home information and it's not assuring with their capabilities that they can act recklessly. I hope you guys can help take action to serve as a zero tolerance on misconduct from such an open book type business Bitetto is in.Desired Settlement: If that lien causes financial burden their needs to be some sort suspension to their lbusiness license for being so reckless

The vehicle was in an accident on December 26, 2015 (a) 10:50am. We were directed to the scene of the accident by AAA under our contracted responsibility. The vehicle was towed to our impound lot at [redacted]Our driver advised Mrs. [redacted] where the destination of her vehicle was going and gave her a business card. I am not aware of the date of Mrs. [redacted]’s first call to us, but I did have a conversation with her after our dispatcher hung up the phone because of Mrs. [redacted]’s foul and abusive language. She was unhappy because the registration to the vehicle is in the name of [redacted]. She was told that we needed proof of her ownership of the company. The vehicle code is very specific that a car is only released by a registered owner. We never refused to give her the vehicle, only the insistence that she provide proof of ownership. See attached registration.A lien is filed after the vehicle has been in the impound lot 72 hours, this was not done out of spite, it is normal procedure for any tow impound lot. Her insurance company knew we needed the Registered Owner to release it to the insurance company, and by December 28", we still did not have any paperwork from the [redacted]'s.I personally spoke to Mrs. [redacted] and explained the procedure about the registration and that being a company vehicle it was unclear who had legal right to release it. She could not offer up a checking account with the company name nor a business license. That is why a notarized statement of ownership with her driver’s license was required. To call us a thug service is unacceptable. Bitetto Towing Service was the contract station of the year for 2014 for the Automobile Club of Southern California.I think Mr. [redacted] should put his wife on notice for being a foul, abusive individual, who obviously does not do well in society to find out procedures and responsibilities. What a different conversation this would be if we had released this vehicle to someone other than the [redacted]’s because we did not insist on proper ID and verification. This dispute has no merit because our company fulfilled its obligation on the care and custody of the [redacted]s's vehicle. On a final note, we did not collect any money from the [redacted]’s at any time.Sincerely,[redacted] Office Manager
