I was very dissatisfied with a purchase at a big box store, not only lack of customer service, but the product itself. I made one call to Plaza Appliance Mart and they were so knowledgeable about their products and answered every question I had. I have used them in the past and have learned my lesson that I will ONLY use them in the future as well as referring them to my friends as well. They followed through with a very fast delivery for me as well. I am beyond satisfied with my new Speed Queen washer and dryer pair and cannot say enough about the quality of this product. Plaza is the only distributor for this brand in the Charlotte and surrounding area. Once I had decided on the brand, I was delighted to work with them again. Plaza and Speed Queen get a 5 star rating from me!
Just took delivery of my new refrigerator from Plaza Appliance Mart in Pineville. It was a great buying experience. Bill Pleasants and the Pineville location staff were very easy to work with and guided me to exactly what I needed and wanted. The delivery guys were very professional and took great care to make sure everything was just right. I would highly recommend this company for all of your appliance and mattress needs!
My wife and I worked with xxxxx and were pleased with the whole experience. We got a great deal on a fridge and dryer set. Unfortunately the fridge didn't fit (our faults for not measuring but it was a recently done kitchen remodel so we wrongly assumed they made it standard width).
Anyway, xxxxx helped us with the return and when I found a good deal at another store for a special sized fridge with water/ice in the door, he matched the price and got it to us that Saturday.
I have no problem recommending them and when we need a new stove (which will likely be soon), we'll be going back!

The sales representative, Jim Sellers, was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. Bobby, the installation expert, was very professional and quickly removed our old unit and installed our new unit without a problem. We have purchased two appliances from Plaza since we have owned our home and we look to working with them again on our next appliance purchase.
Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced.
I called (4) times to ensure that my delivery would be on the day that it was suppose to be on (as quoted when I was charged for the washer and dryer). The day of I called in the morning to see in what timeframe I should expect delivery. The manager spoke to me and quoted a DIFFERENT timeframe then what I had been told the previous two times. This was obviously frustrating as the customer as I had a day to plan. Since the gentlemen would only tell me and I quote "they [redacted] call a half hour ahead of time" I had sat at my house from 9am - until I called again at 1:30. At 1:30 I proactively called again as I should of been done by 2pm and they informed me it would be more in the 3pm hour. They did not apologize or really seem to care that they WASTED my entire day. I called earlier in the morning as I had things I needed to get done and was curious if it would be done by noon (like I was originally quoted). When I called the manager (the gentlemen that I talked to originally) to inform him of my EXTREME unhappiness of the situation he did not care.
You have a choice in where you do business, do not give people that DO NOT CARE your money. I only chose Appliance Plaza because I wanted to keep the money local and not use a BIG BOX store. However this obviously was my mistake as the BIG BOX stores have treated me much better then this store has today. I work in customer service and understand that things happen, however it is the responsibility of the manager of the store to clearly communicate to the customers. If you know you are going to not meet what you quoted then you should follow up with a call, it's not difficult.
