Addressing fabrications and/or exaggerations serves no purpose(s) other than to distract from the core issue…which is not in dispute. [redacted]’s complaint is about “service issues” and “ethics.” [redacted] entered into a service agreement that provided continued service for subterranean termites.  This agreement is similar to that of almost every exterminator in Arizona. It contained no guarantee that termites would permanently go away, accepted no responsibility for damage, and said service(s) were non-refundable. [redacted] had over 12 years experience on three homes with this service agreement and willingly paid to extend the agreement just prior to this complaint. It is undisputed that Bills Pest Termite Control honored the agreement and continued to service the property until [redacted] cancelled scheduled service(s). [redacted] claims damage to a lamp shade, “the carpet was not put back” and treatment holes were not patched.  Upon learning of these claims I personally offered to come out to put the carpet back and patch the holes, a less than 5 minute project.  Additionally, [redacted] was informed we would replace the lamp shade. Complainant responded by not allowing us to make these simple corrections and cancelling the service agreement. Complaints about termite damage are the result of [redacted] taking no action, nor seeking remediation service for nearly 5 months.

I have never had a service agreement.  I paid for termite removal.  Within a couple of weeks the termites were still there in the same place.  They came out & treated again.  With a couple of weeks the termites were in the same spot we originally. Identified.  I called & spoke to Bills office staff multiple times asking for Bill to call me back.  He never returned my call.  I needed to reschedule 1 appointment due to a Drs appt & I let them know in advance of the appt.  Bills did not properly treat the termites which needed to be done inside the house.  Acceptable resolution; come & treat where no visible termites are present or refund my money.  This is a Health & safety issue for a child who lives in the home.  If Bills spent their time properly treating rather than mis-stating facts this would be resolved.

My husband and I were horrified to come home from a get-away-weekend to discover termite hanging from our rafters. After 30 years of working two jobs we had just made the last payment and were looking forward to the extra monthly savings and spending our final years in the comforts of our paid for home.

We have family and neighbors that have fought termites in the past and believe it or not after 30 years of living in Arizona this was our first experience with these insects.

Tasked with finding the right exterminator I began my research right here at the Arizona Revdex.com and called 5 companies to conduct on sight interviews.

Lisa from Bill’s Pest was head and shoulders above her peers. She arrived for our appointment on time, was dressed appropriately and conducted a thorough examination of our property. In fact her inspection alone was more thorough and took longer than the other exterminators combined. Lisa reported problems in areas that the other exterminators completely missed.

I especially appreciated the time Lisa invested to explain termites and how the treatment process should work. It was evident that Lisa knew her profession and had a genuine care for the customer.

It was interesting and somewhat confusing to figure out the different pricing schemes exterminators use. Some offered a low price partial treatment with no warranty, others yearly inspections and a warranty and one a 5 year guarantee. While the 5 year sounded good when you got into the fine print they required payment for a new treatment after five years. The warranty from Bill’s Pest included a yearly inspection and a warranty that was good for as long as we wanted without hidden fees.

Price wise Bill’s Pest was in the middle and based upon what they were going to do they were the best value, plus I sensed they could be trusted if something went wrong.

The treatment process was painless and I was impressed at the hard work performed in +100 degree. The treatment crew (2 guys) was headed by Donovan. He was patient taking the time to answer my questions and allowing me to follow him around our home.

If and when termites strike we recommend Bill’s Pest as they have a great attitude and know termites.

Regards,

[redacted] & [redacted]

Bill's Pest & Termite Control came to our home as scheduled for a full exterior Termidor application for the control of subterranean termites. With excellent supervisory oversight, the treatment went well with no problems at all & our property kept neat/clean.

Bill's was able to avoid drilling the decorative stamped & stained concrete front entry walkway & rear patio deck. They were able to inject Termidor into the expansion joints at full rate & get very good coverage. Bill's also avoided drilling into the garage cabinet bottoms by angle drilling from outside to beneath the garage cabinets w/ no injection points visible above the soil line.

We found Bill's level of conscientiousness & professionalism to be extremely high which was surprisingly satisfying to us as a customer these days. Unlike all the other pest control providers, never at any point did Bill's blow sunshine up our dress or ever try to upsell or lock us into any extra services or agreements or anything. We really felt that they believed in having the firm satisfaction of doing a great job right. We're confident that our home will be termite-free for years to come & we'll stay a loyal customer for as long as they continue to carry on as they have demonstrated.

I am not a big fan of having chemicals sprayed around my home but when I saw those awful ants in my 3 month old's crib it was time to do something now!

I researched quite a few pest control Phoenix exterminators and got several quotes. All the exterminators focused on their price while [redacted] from Bill’s Pest Control addressed my particular problem and my concerns instead.

[redacted] had complete answers to all my important questions and it is obvious she is an expert exterminator. I like the concept of targeted minimal chemical spray and the use of non toxic baits. [redacted] was the service lady and she echoed everything that [redacted] discussed so it was obvious they have an excellent training program. [redacted] got rid of the ant problem without killing the dog or endangering my family in any way.

In today’s day and age quality family businesses are hard to come by. I recommend Bill’s pest control.

Bill's is a straight forward, no BS company with great service. I started with a young lady, Lisa I think, who took care of scheduling for me which was fast & accurate. They got out quickly to check and treat a bed bug problem and followed up several times to make sure the problem was fixed. Good company to work with, very good prices too. Half of what Nolan quoted.

I have had a termite problem for several months now that has had me quite concerned. I did not feel that the current exterminator that I was contracted with was doing everything that they could do to solve my problem. I first heard of Bills Pest and Termite Company on the radio. Knowing that I needed to come up with a better plan for treatment, I went to the website billstermiteco.com. I watched several videos, and quickly decided that I needed their help. My termite inspector Jonathan was right on time! I had several questions and concerns that he covered with me so that I fully understood everything. He came up with a treatment plan for me, and I feel now that my termite problem will be no more! Thank you so much! I feel very soon that my worries will be no more!

My husband and I were horrified to come home from a get-away-weekend to discover termite hanging from our rafters. After 30 years of working two jobs we had just made the last payment and were looking forward to the extra monthly savings and spending our final years in the comforts of our paid for home.

My termite treatment by Bill's went Great. -- Great price. -- Very Very good service. Just wonderful people working for this company. Very satisfied with everything from start to finish. -- Thanks to all of the team . Thanks so much. -- [redacted].

Review: I have been doing business with Bill's Pest & Termite for over 11 years. For the duration of 9 years I entrusted in the company and the employees to service my home. They often told me the problem with repeat treatments for termite was due to the design of the home (Tri-level) and I believed them. Prior to purchase of our new home in December 2011, I had Bill's Pest & Termite inspect, at which time they found no termites. After our purchase, termites were found! Bill's came out and verified, we spoke about why they had not found them at time of purchase and were told, termites are good at hiding, they like dark areas. We paid Bill's Pest & Termite to treat the entire home and proceeded to carry the warranty along with monthly pest control. Several times over the last couple of years we have had to call Bill's for re-treatment. We found termite tunnels in our ceiling over our bed in the master bedroom and called immediately. They came out and treated. Before we poured concrete on the front of our house, we had Bill's treat the soil. We dug a trench on the back side of our home to install a drain pipe (to keep water away from the house) and had Bill's treat the soil. The termites just keep re-appearing. I paid Bill's Pest & Termite to treat my father's guest house/garage (Directly across the street from my home) and have had to re-treat twice since then and have termites again!

Recently, December of 2013 we built a guest house on our property that attached to an existing garage. Before concrete could be poured we had to have the soil treated for termites. Figuring that we already had a warranty with Bill's we would had them do the pre-treat. With the pre-treat we were told we had a five year warranty on this section of the home. In June 2014 we found the brand new build had termites. When I called Bill's the employee who came out said he was sorry, and that they were supposed to have come out again after the house was complete but apparently nobody told us this. So he treated it again. I explained to him we were concerned because they had already been back several times to treat the main house and we were getting ready to install $6K worth of wood flooring in the guest house. The employee assured me the flooring would be fine after this treatment. The day after he was there, it rained. I called Bill's to ask about the rain washing away the product. I called Bill's Pest & Termite after finding termites again in July 2014 and asked to have [redacted] himself come to my home. I had met with Bill before at our last house after we had reoccurring issues and felt that he needed to see what was happening here. Bill came to my home on July 14 and accessed the pests and damage they had caused. He was frustrated and didn't seem to understand why we kept having issues. He asked me to allow him the opportunity to correct this situation. Of course! I want my homes protected and this the reason I keep up on the warranty all these years. He told me he would have a crew out on the morning of July 17 and they would re-treat my main house, my guest house and my dad's guest house (across the street). [redacted] and I also discussed the drilling of new concrete and pulling up the carpet in the bedrooms in the main house, he asked if it was ok to drill the saltillo tile in my dad's guest house. I told him I was ok with whatever necessary to fix this and rid ourselves of these damaging pests. On the morning of July 17 2014, I met with [redacted] himself and saw his crew of three trucks and a few employees. They told me they would take care of everything and I told them I had to leave for work but my mother and father would be there if they needed access or had any information that needed to be relayed. I left my homes in the hands of [redacted] that day and expected he was going to make this bad situation right.

When I came home that night, my mom handed me the paperwork and told me the guys said everything was taken care of. I went into the rooms to inspect and found the carpet had been left pulled up and the holes they had drilled were not filled. A lamp that sits on the nightstand in the master bedroom, that once belonged to my late grandmother had a crushed shade and furniture was out of whack. I sent an email to [redacted] informing him of my findings.

This site does not allow me to attach information at this stage so I am not sure how to get the information to Revdex.com, There is several pages of documentation and photos.

I asked [redacted] to about the drill holes, I informed him of the lamp shade, I informed him that my trust has been damaged beyond repair or allowing him and his employees back into my home. I asked him for a refund or simply just to pay another company to treat my homes. He has since stopped communication with me and I have filed a complaint with the [redacted] Office of Pest Management. [redacted] has hired an attorney to speak with them and a meeting has been set up on Dec 1, 2014.

Just as recent as yesterday, I opened a cabinet (brand new kitchen cabinets installed Jan 2012) and the hinge separated from the cabinet and termites had eaten it away. My home is falling apart due to lack of treatment that I have been paying for, for years! I am completely dissatisfied and broken over a relationship that spanned 11+years.Desired Settlement: Pay for another company to treat the buildings.

To: Arizona Revdex.com Re: Response to [redacted] complaint For clarification purposes of the information submitted by [redacted]: As stated by [redacted] we did inspect for termites 11.22.11 and no evidence of activity was observed. This report and the findings were submitted to the State of Arizona on the proper forms. Nearly 10 months later new termites were discovered by Bill’s Pest Control (9.17.12) and [redacted] was informed of these findings. [redacted] waited over 7 months to take any type of corrective action. On 4.29.13 [redacted] entered into a service agreement for termite control with Bill’s Pest Control and the initial service was performed. On 7.17.14 [redacted] cancelled all service(s) and would not allow access to her home for purposes of carrying out the terms of our agreement. It’s important to note the terms of the agreement provide that Bill’s Pest Control will perform necessary services to control termites at her home. The agreement provides no assurances that the homeowner will not see termite activity during the terms of the agreement, rather it provides for service(s) in response to activity. Additionally, because [redacted] waited so long to take initial action the agreement provided no guarantee against damage and/or damage repair. In over three decades I have not seen a termite contract from any company in Arizona that guarantees a homeowner will not see termites or need additional services. When one truly understands the nature of Arizona termites it becomes clear that any type of guarantee such as this is not possible. [redacted] and Bill’s Pest Control entered into a service agreement and as demonstrated by her own words we have fulfilled our end. We have responded to each and every request for service in a timely manner. [redacted] has cancelled the last two appointments for service and has not allowed us back on the property to provide service(s). The damage that [redacted] speaks of: “I opened a cabinet and the hinge separated from the cabinet and termites had eaten it away. My home is falling apart due to lack of treatment” is a direct result of her own actions (cancelling services). The State of [redacted] has reviewed this matter (pursuant to another complaint filed by [redacted]) and has found no wrong doings on behalf of Bill’s Pest Control.[redacted]'s complaint is without merit and the resulting damage is from her own decision to discontinue service. Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Mr [redacted] stated that "The State of [redacted] has reviewed this matter and found no wrong doing on his companies behalf". That is a false statement, along with many others in this report. [redacted], the inspector at the [redacted] confirmed with me today 12-10-2014 the case is still pending due to the lack of cooperation on part of [redacted], his attorney and his applicator [redacted] What we do know is that he did not properly cover the area in which was treated and this goes against procedures for the licensing dept. I have made every attempt to correct issues with termites at my home, I have NEVER Cancelled an appointment for treatment. I have called every time I found pests at my home and this company has been out to my home EVERY month in 2013 and several times in 2014 for pest control. If termites were found they were treated. I am only now refusing to allow Bill's Pest & Termite employees back into my home because of damage they caused. In fact, I am having new kitchen cabinets installed in my home today due to the damage and presumption of lack of chemicals used o behalf of Bill's Pest & Termite. On November 26, 2014 I paid to have another company treat my entire property for the termites again. [redacted] has not made any attempt in this statement to resolve the issue at hand.
