Bill Sabo III

Review: On 6/26/13 Bill Sabo came to my home and gave us an estimate of $1,500.00 to prune and mulch our landscaping. He stated he needed a $600.00 deposit to buy the mulch. I was quite skeptical at that point because I was never asked to give a deposit, I always paid in full upon completion of the job. I gave the deposit because he was recommended by a neighbor. He was to start the job the next day and did not show up until 3 days later and numerous calls to his cell phone. He came with two teens to do the pruning and left before I came outside to talk to him. I asked the teens what experience they had. One teen said he just started that morning the other said he had three days experience. They said that Bill would be back in a couple of hours. I had to pick up my Mom and when I returned these teens destroyed the landscaping they pruned and it all needs to be replaced. When Bill finally showed up about 3 hours later, He was apologetic and said he would replace everything they ruined and that he would personally be back the next day with a crew to finish and make everything right. These teens also destroyed a tree in my neighbors yard that they thought belonged to us. (Bill said he would replace that tree also) To replace what they ruined will cost over $3,500.00. Bill and the two teens left after working about 3.5 hours. Bill never showed up the following day. Called him numerous times for a week and he never answered his phone. I filed a claim in small claims court and did some of my own investigation. There are many claims filed against him in small claims court and in Mahoning county court.Desired Settlement: I want the destroyed Landscaping replaced which we got an estimate from a reputable garden center for $3,600.00. This includes the labor to replace the landscaping.
