Big D Oil Company

I went through their car wash. It malfunctioned during the drying process and the garage door came down on and damaged the front of my vehicle.
On Friday *** at approximately 2:50 P.M. (Mountain), I went through the car wash at ***, ***, *** using a free-car-wash voucher. Although the driver in front of me got stuck in the wash and was released by the attendant, I thought it'd work fine for me.

The car wash went fine. During the dry cycle, however, I had 70 seconds of dry time. But at exactly 65 seconds (as I was edging my car out of the wash) the garage door of the car wash came down on the front of my vehicle and went back up.

The car wash attendant, ***, witnessed the event and I have a signed statement from him telling me he saw the door come down and go back up.

After examining the front of my car immediately after the wash, I observed vertical scratches on my front bumper that are consistent with the garage door going down on it and going back up. As result, I asked *** for the owner's contact information and filled out a Big D Oil Accident Report Form (which I still have along with my original car-wash receipt). I immediately contacted my insurance agency and ***, Big D area supervisor.

*** referred me to *** in ***, and I have a timed and dated estimate from *** proving I went there immediately after the car-wash incident.

After about a week, after reporting my *** estimate to ***, *** came to my house with a ruler and some dude I didn't recognize and told me Big D wouldn't cover the cost of the estimated $*** necessary to repair the damage to my car. I did NOT give *** permission to touch my vehicle, nor did I give him permission to measure it. I gave him permission to take photos, nothing more.

I have extremely powerful evidence to support my complaint against Big D:
1. My signed, timed, and dated Big D Oil Accident Report Form, on which *** (the wash attendant) confirmed with his signature the door went down and up.
2. The original car-wash receipt.
3. The timed and dated estimate from ***.
4. Pictures of the Big D car wash garage door that fell on my vehicle.
5. Pictures of the drying timer.
6. Pictures of the damage to my car (vertical scratches on the front bumper) immediately following the car wash.
7. Recent pictures of my vehicle BEFORE the car-wash incident that prove the scratches weren't their before.
8. Confirmation that *** got in touch with *** which proves he had a vested interest to the damage to my car and is unwilling to fix the problem.

I'm sure I can dig up more.
