So you know, 2002 Nissan Altima 2.5S uses the same part for both crankshaft and camshaft position sensors. Absolutely identical, 2 of the same parts, located at different places serve different purposes. Auto parts stores in their inventories most often call it “crankshaft sensor”. The other mechanic probably replaced not the one we originally replaced. But what’s good about guessing? Ms. [redacted] did not give us a chance to finish repairs on her vehicle. We could spend hours and hours talking and writing to each other in attempt to educate about vehicles repairs and accusing in cheating. A decade in business and thousands of satisfied customers speak for themselves. We do not make money on cheating people; we help people to put their cars back on the road.
It is not worth of the time. If Ms. [redacted] brings us “crankshaft position sensor”—“old”one—the one we supposedly did not replace—we will refund her $140.45. None of the paperwork is going to help. We need the part back because we know that it is a new part that we bought from the parts store in September, and we could warranty it through the supplier. This condition MUST be satisfied for a refund.
