*** I find your response iffy at best- have you contacted the makers of the program you use? Do you have anything to back this statement up? What is the name of the automated program you use, since they have caused this issue, I am assuming you are going to contact them for compensation for this error
What makes me further believe you are being untruthful is this response we received from your employee regarding the price of the vehicle: "this discrepancy is due to a last minute update in the selling price given the fact that we had to install new tires"*** *** sent this to my husband on *** *, *** at 9:pm (after I submitted the complaint to the Revdex.com)This implies that either it wasn't a computer glitch at all, but a misadvertisement from your dealership (presumably to bring people in- not an uncommon tactic used by dealerships) or it was a price you decided to tack on last minute without consideration to the various places you advertise
Given your differing statements I'm not certain who to believe, but I certainly take offense to being lied to, whoever it is fromAdditionally, as mentioned in the original complaint, which you did not address is the fact your employee responded through the *** ad, so as much as I'm sure you would like to just blame *** or anyone else, if this was actually an error it would have been caught there

*** I am sure you can appreciate that it would be very tedious for us to manually list every vehicle on every third party listing site (we currently list our inventory on separate listing sites)All of our inventory is pushed out via a data feed from our website to a company affiliated with *** called ***It is then pushed from this provider to the various listing sitesWhen we bring vehicles in we will list them for a period in there "as-is" condition until we see what they need to be certified for our certified used vehicle programWhen we receive the estimate we will adjust the price accordinglyIn this instance the price was updated to reflect the tires installed but due to a glitch in the data feed it did not push out to the other providersI'm sure you can appreciate that the value of a vehicle would need to be raised after installing $*,*** worth of tiresAll of our leads from the various listing sites are emailed to our main address and assigned to a product advisor to respond toThe lead is dispatched directly from *** to our email, this is why the ad is referenced in the responseAs I have said *** it would be a very unproductive business tactic for us to purposefully list incorrect pricesI told you I would be more than willing to compensate you for your trip down and that offer still stands***I once again apologize for the inconvenience and hope we can put this unproductive dialogue to rest

I will accept the resolution as outlined by *** in the previous two email responsesMy wife and I remain steadfast in our view that we were seriously interested in purchasing a vehicle as discussed by an add we viewed placed by your dealershipAs you stated this is a long standing business based on integrityAs consumers, regardless of what caused an error we would expect a longstanding business in the interest of customer satisfaction to honour a listed priceThis remains our position which we view as typical of what an ordinary consumer would expectFrom our perspective this is an important business principle and not an unproductive dialogue and we would hope you would see it from this perspectiveRegardless, I would appreciate reimbursement sent to my wife or myself for $**, this can be mailed to *** *** ***, ***, ** ***Acceptance of travel reimbursement for the resolution of this matter which from our point of you is unresolved
