I was directed to Classic Ford through the USAA car buying service and was assigned to Hope C*** and JJ of the internet teamI went to the dealership to view their inventory and they didn't have what I was looking forAs my wife and I were getting into the car to leave, the salesman and another guy approached my window and asked if they could locate a truck for meI told them that the exact truck that I was looking for was at Lugoff Ford and they would have to beat the price and get the truck in order to earn my businessHope called me later and said they could get the truck and offered me a price of $46,
After a few days of horrible communication, I was told that they couldn't get the truck I wanted but were searching for anotherOver the next few days, Hope would call me in the morning and tell me they had located a truck and were waiting to see if they could get it from another dealershipAfter hours would go by, I would call to see what the status was and I kept being told that they were waiting on the other dealership
Finally, after tying up five days of my time, I received a call from Hope at 4:pm informing me that they had located a truck and I could drive over to fill out paperworkOnce again, I verified with Hope the price that she had been quoting, $46,440, and she told me that because it was shadow black, it would in fact be $lessI explained to her that I needed to know the exact price before driving miles from Shaw AFB in the rain, she assured me that it would be the price that she stated
When I arrived to the dealership, I learned that Hope and JJ had gone home for the day so they stuck me with a salesperson named Bina to complete the transactionAfter an hour, I asked for the price of the truck that they were getting at which point another guy showed up with a price invoice of $52,Huge difference between that figure and the $46,that Hope had promised
I explained to the guy that Hope had assured me of the $46,price but he didn't seem to care and told me that the $52,was the best he could doI told him that he could keep the truck and that they had wasted my time and gas driving to the dealership
At this point, Bina seemed upset and went to find the GMShe came back minutes later and said he was on the phoneShe then gave me a passionate speech on customer relations and that she would do everything in her power to get me the promised priceShe promised that she would call the next day by am and that I would hear from the GM as well
I waited until 10:am to contact Hope and had to explain to her what happenedShe passed the buck off onto the sales team and took no responsibility for her shady and dishonest actionsI never heard from Bina or the GM that day and the sales manager who finally called wouldn't come close to the promised price
All in all, Classic Ford wasted my time by making promises they can't keep and explained the situation as having mixed me up with a different customerI call BS and am actively working with USAA to have their dealership removed from the car buying serviceI hope the whole internet sales team is fired for what they did
Stay away active duty, they will waste your time and make claims of offering the best discounts to military members
