Best Western Continental Inn

Review: Made a reservation on Monday, April 27, 2013 and called on May 3, 2013 to cancel. He would not cancel my reservation.

Made a reservation for one room for Sunday, May 5th. He did tell me that I had until May 3rd to cancel my reservation. When I called on May 3rd at 6:00pm to cancel he said that because I called after 4:00pm he would not honor it. He said to look on my confirmation email and it says I have to call no later than 4:00. I printed out the email he sent me and it says Cancel By 05/03/2013. No where on the email does it say I had to call by any specific time. I called him back and told him it never said a time that I had to call by and he said :I'm sorry but I remember telling you that on the phone." He wasn't very nice about it. I asked him that if I needed to call by a certain time why is it not on the email like he said. He did not have an answer for me. He told me all Best Western's have this policy. If he is going to tell people that they have to call by a certain time on their cancellation day, then he needs to have it printed on the confirmation email.Desired Settlement: It would be nice if I could be refunded my $91.41.
